Marina's House

Our host Angelo has been very kind with us.The house is huge. We had a room for each couple all to ourselves, with everything we needed for cooking—a washing machine, dishwasher, and everything we needed. All the rooms are spotless and well-maintained. We really appreciated the outdoor space surrounded by greenery, where we could have breakfast surrounded by the chirping cicadas. It was very quiet and relaxing. Angelo and his daughter were very welcoming, providing us with fresh fruit and breakfast essentials. Sheets and towels were changed halfway through our stay. We recommend this property to everyone. We had difficulty finding the apartment because roaming wifi was patchy and no signposting from main road. In the end we phoned host and he came to meet us and led us back. We were self-catering . Kitchen very well equipped including dishwasher, small freezer and washing machine and Marina had left us some supplies which was a lovely welcome. We could pick tomatoes and lemons from the garden, and she would often bring us figs and snacks. We felt really at home. Very peaceful setting in the country 10 min drive from Argostoli and beaches. 2 outside seating areas. Highly recommended. Towels changed after 3 days without asking. Would stay again without hesitation.

Beds were adequate but not as solid as we're used to. However we slept well and no complaints whatsoever.

Marina is great, she welcomed us wirh lots of goodies 😊, the appartment is large and clean.

A lovely apartment with all amenities, central to Argostoli and lakithra we had a car so easy to travel, Netflix available so we logged in for movie night which is a bonus, amazing hosts that to our surprise supplied there own jam, oil , also supplied bread, butter fruit etc which was welcomed and is above and beyond what we expected, Marina came and supplied cake and fruit throughout the week and made us feel like family, her dog Roco is lovely and we fell in love with him, in fact we really felt a part of the whole family which made it difficult to leave .. we loved it there, Marina has made a lovely apartment with a personal touch and love her sense of recycling, shabby chic approach .. if you want an apartment close to Argostoli and want to feel the Kefalonia welcome then book here
