Midweek ski trip

There is ample parking and good walking distance to Campo Smith skiing. Very quiet and the apartment is well heated.

The check in was not well organised, we received no information despite two messages saying when we would arrive; a day prior and the morning of arrival. We had to call the maintenance manager when we arrived and thankfully we understood enough Italian to understand how to get into the apartment as he said he did not speak English. There are no instructions in the welcome book for the internet (you need to get it at the bottom of the router) or for daily queries; garbage disposal, check out, etc.

A beautiful place for a relaxing retreat in Bardonecchia

Great and beautiful location, cozy interior with all daily essentials. The host was very helpful. Easy access to the city.

There is a heater and a fireplace but it would be nice if there was floor heating as well because the floor can get very cold.

Cosy, well-located apartment in need of modernisation

Location was ideal - short walk to Campo Smith for skiing and the bus to Jafferau. The host was quick at responding via WhatsApp. The apartment was warm, and the fire was a lovely touch during the snowy evenings.

We had a few issues - firstly, when we arrived we didn’t have hot water (as the boiler had been switched off). Once we worked out how to turn it on (switch on the wall in the hallway), and left it to heat for nearly 24hrs, we barely had hot water for each of us (2 ppl) to shower (this didn’t improve over the length of the stay either). The fridge was also turned off, so we had to spend time working out how to turn it on too. The wood for the fire that was supposed to be in the apartment wasn’t there, so had to message the owner. The bathroom could do with some modernisation too. The shower is handheld over a tiny half bath tub, which means the entire room gets wet when used (there are no screens or curtains round it). We also were expecting some info about the local area, even just a copy of the local free bus timetable, location of the nearest shop, etc, but there was nothing. For the price paid, I wouldn’t call this amazing value for money unfortunately.

Ottimo appartamento per una famiglia di 3-4 persone, caldo e accogliente con posto auto coperto.

Posizione ideale a 5 Min a piedi da via Medail e 10 Min dalle piste di Campo Smith. Posizione silenziosa della città. Posto auto coperto quando nevica è TOP. Appartamento molto confortevole e funzionale. Personale molto cortese e disponibile.

Appartement confortable, dans un quartier calme. Bien chauffé et bien équipé. On y est bien.

Le système de store devant les portes et les fenêtres est assez périlleux. L'éclairage du salon mériterait d'être revu.
