Semiramide Palace Hotel

It is a good base to explore Bari, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Matera, Ostuni, etc withoit worrying about parking, which is always an issue in visiting medieval places. Breakfast buffet was included and it had some warm food and not just continental breakfast.

The bacon was too salty, scrambled eggs too dry.

Size of room and excellent breakfast

The pool area was too small. Hotel a little shabby.

Great check in possibilities, kind staff, good location and good parking.

In this type of hotel I expect free water in a mini bar and not empty mini bar. I think the hotel could use some upgrade of facilities. Also I think breakfast was more about quantity then quality.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights as it was central for the sightseeing we had planned . It was also a good price for the comfort room The room was big and the bed comfortable but we were at the back of the hotel and a dog howls most of the night : ( The staff were friendly , especially the young man at breakfast. The pool is a nice area but unfortunately the weather wasn’t good when we were there

The breakfast was disappointing despite other reviews. Bacon and egg was cold each morning and not replenished.when running low. Asked for more but was told ‘finished’ despite it only being 8.45 and service was till 10am There was only one type of bread and this wasn’t very fresh. Cold cuts and fruit , yogurts and lots of cake ….if you like cake for breakfast! Coffee was good though . Ask for a room at the front of the hotel if you want a good nights sleep
