Waters Fall is a remarkable mountain home located in the Hound Ears resort community, just minutes from Blowing Rock, Boone, and Historic Valle Crucis, however, you may never leave the home and the gorgeous surroundings. Water cascades down the property and runs under the spacious deck and cantilevered screened porch before falling another 20' on the rocks below. Relax with family, friends or just on your own in your private grotto.
The charming home features modern amenities while maintaining the coziness of an authentic, mountain A-frame. Enjoy High-speed internet and convenient charging ports throughout the house. A great room with massive wood burning stone fireplace (wood supplied) and comfy sitting area, along with a 55” smart TV with the most popular apps including YouTube TV, Netflix and Amazon Video. The updated kitchen includes a double convection oven, quiet dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, and Amazon Alexa voice assistant. Each floor includes a Master bedroom with full bath. The upstairs bath includes a whirlpool tub and separate standup shower along with a full-sized washer and dryer. Climb the spiral stairs to the Eagle's Nest loft -- a perfect, private space for a tree-house-like escape.
Outside, enjoy the spacious deck and soak in the beautiful view. The screened porch includes a dining table for 8 and comfy seating for a good read or that afternoon nap. This property is beautiful. The deck with the waterfall is hard to imagine unless you are there. The lights at night are beautiful. The cabin itself is so cozy. Our bed and bedding were so comfortable and the living room great for relaxing after dark. The kitchen was very well equipped. There are so many excellent restaurants and activities nearby. Great hiking. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Waters Fall.

Waters fall is fantastic. Incredible communication, beautiful property and truly highlights what's so special about the North Carolina mountains. Very kid friendly and well stocked for all cooking needs. Have stayed multiple times and will continue to book and recommend

Watersfall was an incredible house to spend App State Graduation with my 2 daughters and sister. It was such a quaint cabin and the creek and waterfall was amazing especially at night. The host Lynn was excellent - always replied to my messages in a timely manner and even sent me a personal text to make sure we had arrived safely and to let us know about the lights around the creek and how beautiful it is at night. We took several pictures on the deck for my daughter's graduation as it was a beautiful background. The check-in and out process was stress free. The only thing I would say is to let the security guards at the gate to give guests the key to the house. They gave us the key so we wouldn't have to drive back down the mountain since we had arrived as it was getting dark. It was not an issue at all. The screened in porch on the deck was also a great bonus. Unfortunately it was too chilly at night to utilize it more. I loved the rocking chair and the chairs around the fire pit during the day were used. Thank you again for being a great host and sharing your cabin with us. AnneMarie

We had a wonderful stay at Waters Fall. We are a family of 4 which includes 2 high schoolers. The house was cozy & we enjoyed spending time together. But there was also space to be apart when we needed that too. Very convenient to pick up groceries in Boone to cook breakfasts & a few dinners at the house. We also enjoyed exploring the unique dining options in town. We’ve been to many different rentals in Asheville, Blowing Rock, Boone areas & this one really stands out as our favorite ever. The neighborhood trails are excellent if you don’t want to commit to a huge day out & away from the property. The house itself is both vintage & updated in all the right places. The beds were comfy & it was equipped with every thing we needed - & then some. We especially enjoyed the deck & waterfall. The WiFi worked when you’re needed to connect, & the streaming tvs were perfect. Communication with the host was great, & coming & going from the gated neighborhood was easy - & we felt very welcomed by the guards & neighbors alike. We absolutely did not want to leave.
