Location

Probably didn’t realise there would be children in the other properties and as it was summer they were using the pool. Kids bring kids, they were jumping and splashing with little regard for adults who just wanted a dip or a swim. If I’d known this I would have booked somewhere else. It’s set out in the photos as a romantic, quiet setting. A bit misleading.

This place is just fantastic. Pictures don’t lie. You really do have access to a cool terrasse with a nicely sized pool. The apartment is great - especially the bed 🛌 And the best location in town. I can highly recommend this place 😎👍

The manager and cleaning lady were extremely helpful with genuine care to the customer's comfort. Communication was efficient and easy. The room was charming, and culturally and geographically accurate. It was well-equipes, surprising perks like salt, sugar, coffee pods for 2 people and tea. Perfectly clean. Intelligently designed to store much within little space. The location is one of our favorites. It is a challenging climb even for the strong and young. There is a small refreshing plunge pool. Good air-conditioning. Comfortable bed. 2nd time we stayed.

Yeah. It is true the bathroom has a horribly strong, unpleasant odor of dry trap & escaping sewer gases from biofilm and years of rotting organic material. The shower is new and clean, no visible signs of mold. Luckily we could not smell it while the door was closed. But all the other positives are so great that we would purposely try to come back.

The location was great , yet the property was away from the main street up a slight hill and quiet.

The apartment was named Sirius on the ground floor. Was more like a dungeon. Could not open any windows for fresh air. The bathroom had a loud humming noise coming from a small electrical unit on the wall 24 /7. Very annoying. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. The pool was cute and the water temperature was good but the pool stairs were a potential hazard as the portable steps were not screwd in properly at the top. An accident waiting to happen. The decking and outdoor chairs are not as the website image shows , they are all in need of a renovation / good paint job.. The garden and levels that go up the outdoor stairs could be maintained. This is a good property but the property needs some maintenance. Perhaps if you stay chose a different room.
