Beautiful Private Home with Hot Tub, Close to Town

My husband and I stayed at this property for three weeks . Pam and Bill were gracious hosts and thought of everything we needed for a perfect stay . Cleanliness and comfort are the words that come easily when you open the door !The property is easily accessible, however , you feel that you are “away” ! We intend to stay here many times in the future as “our NC home “.

Great place to get away and to enjoy the mountain air. Easy access to tubing/ziplining in Saluda and Lake Lure. Easy drive to Asheville. Lots or great parks and falls in the surrounding areas to see, and after a long day of being out and about, you can relax in the hot tub, which was fantastic!

Really enjoyed our stay. The house and property was beautiful and relaxing, and a short drive to downtown area.

We fell in love with the floors and how clean everything was. The kitchen and living flowed great together for cooking and talking with friends at the same time. Just a few steps away from the house was a nice relaxing hot tub that was easy to use. House was well equipped for our stay and had a few extra as well. Peaceful at night for a great night's sleep. Soft towels and comfortable bed. Property owner are nice and accommodating.

This was a peaceful and quiet place for our mini vacation. Owners were very nice.

The house was amazing. Extremely clean and well stocked with necessary items such as kitchen utensils and cookware. Both bedrooms had extremely comfortable beds as well as outdoor access. The owners are extremely nice and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. We will definitely return to this property for our future visits to the area.

My family (husband, teenage daughter, and I) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Before deciding to book the place, I read the reviews. Based on one very thorough review, I learned that the owners lived on the same plot of land, relatively close to the house. The pictures don't necessarily allow you to know that, and I probably would have been a bit disappointed with the location had I not read that review. That same review included a complaint about the internet access (which was a concern as my husband was going to be working remotely during our stay). The owner responded politely to the concern, stating she had upgraded the internet at the house. A quick email to her confirmed the internet speed, and I was sold. After booking the place, the owner was very helpful answering questions and clearly wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip. While I never met her in person, I can say that she is kind and helpful, attentive to our needs. The house was lovely. W But everything else was fantastic. The space has 2 large bedrooms, great for two couples or a couple and older children. The 2nd bedroom is downstairs from the main floor with a door leading to the outside, so I personally wouldn't want to use it for small children.

This is the perfect location for anyone looking for some peace and quite while still being close to town with all the activities. I was overwhelmed by the hospitality, cleanliness, and attention to detail the owners put into the property. My only comment would be to add a little more detail about the layout of the house in the listing just to give you a better idea for planning purposes if traveling with younger children. It was a wonderful trip and I will definitely plan on staying here again next time we are in town.

We've used VRBO for a number of years, in different cities, but this was our best experience yet. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. The hosts anticipated every need and added so many nice touches--we can't wait to return.

The house is very clean, they have furnished it very well, the house it self is very nice, The owners are very nice people, they give you your privacy, but just know there home is within 50” of you door, the hot tub is at the end of the shared driveway on the end of there house, the fire place in the down stairs bed room was a very nice touch but it was not hooked up , owner said there was a code issue something about the ventilation, none of these things were listed on Vrbo, when the owner opened the hot tub when we arrived there were leaves and hair floating in it, he also told us his wife uses it in the morning before work! The next thing is the wireless internet is sooooo slow yo can’t hardley use it, good thing our phones had signal , tv had Netflix but internet so bad it would not connect, again these are just things we saw that if we new before hand we would have made a different choice.

Our stay was beyond our expectations. We came as rental guest and left as friends. Pam and Bill are now part of our lives. So close to town and all the places we wanted to go. Enjoyed Pearson’s Falls and Rhododendron park. Had two rainy days, didn’t go out and loved staying in. So warm and comfortable. We would absolutely want to come back.

We had a wonderful time in this home. It was comfortable in every way and Pam and Bill could not be more helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

Very clean, everything from plates, pans, glasses, towels, etc. were better than most rentals. Some extras like bathrobes, plush towels, and fresh flowers were over and above. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Would stay there again. A bit more transparency needed in pics and write up. The 2nd bedroom is basement but the bathroom upstairs, shared driveway with owners' house, fire pit and hot tub were "private" but at end of driveway, and wifi was agonizingly slow.

Pam and Bill were terrific hosts! They thought of everything you may need to have a relaxing stay. They even left the lights on for us as we arrived later than planned!

This property was perfect for me and my wife's long weekend. The house has everything you would need and is a great place to spend time when you are not exploring the area. The hosts could not have been better. Bill had plenty of information on how to use different amenities on the property, and he also knew where to find the best hiking trails in the area. His wife Pam gave us great options to eat that were close by and made us feel more than welcome. Both were extremely helpful and nice. We look forward to making it back to the area in the future, and we will definitely try to book this property again.

Pam and Bill were so welcoming! The house was better than it appeared online. It was a perfect retreat for our family. It was close to town but felt secluded. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

The cabin was wonderful. Close to Hendersonville, Asheville, Lake Lure and Brevard. Pam and Bill were amazing. Very nice and accommodating. We had such a wonderful stay.

Had no problems, met the owners, very nice people and property, big yard, easy access to sites and Hendersonville restaurants, well equipped property, comfortable as well!

Everything about this stay was 5-Star. Private, beautiful location; incredibly nice welcoming hosts; well-decorated and fitted out interior spaces; very spacious outdoor living spaces perfect for relaxing and/or entertaining; top quality bed & bath linens; more than enough wine glasses, coffee cups, plates, silverware.....ad infinitum. I could live here easily! Honestly, I’ve never had a more enjoyable stay in a rental & I've rented all over the world.

We were met by Bill with great enthusiasm. He showed us where everything was in this home. If you forgot something they probably have it there already. From tooth brush to coffee. We have been to many places and this ranks as number one for cleanliness, and comfortable amenities. We plan on returning here in the future.

Extraordinary property on a huge piece of land, just as described. The property was clean, nice, ample space, great hot tub, satellite TV throughout the house, and satellite radio also, even with speakers outside and very functional Wi-Fi. Plenty of clean linens, fluffy towels, cooking supplies, and the grill on the deck worked well and was clean. The welcome baskets of toiletries in each bathroom was something I have not seen at a VRBO rental. The doggy pen outside is a great bonus! Sometimes you rent a property expecting one thing and then you are hit in the face with the unknowns…let me explain. The owners, Bill and Pam, used to live in the property until they built an apartment above their garage across the property and decided to give the rental thing a try. They didn’t want to be too overbearing or in our space, but wanted us to feel like we were at home, which is exactly how we felt after ONLY a day! They are an unbelievably sweet couple that went out of their way to help in any way possible. They invited us over for a drink one night and then to watch the fireworks at their CC down the road.. and then we had them over for dinner another night, which is totally unexpected. You should only be so lucky to get to know them, which was not described in rental fee, but was free and included.... We also met a few of their uber cool, down to earth friends. We miss MAX, their beautiful black lab already! Bill is an amazing musician, if you are lucky, you may catch him playing at a local brewery or perhaps he is jamming with his son Adam and his band! **Stays like this make you realize just how blessed we really are and the wonderful spirit of humanity. WE WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK TO RENT AGAIN! MUST DO’s in Hendersonville: Hike, Hike waterfalls, and Hike some more. Breweries and Breweries galore in Hendersonville, and around. Sanctuary is our fave and simply amazing.. Must try the Haziversary. Never Blue is a MUST eat spot in Hendersonville, and Float down the French Broad and stop at New Belgium (Fat Tire!) Next time we will get to Sierra Nevada, hopefully. Also, Purple Onion for lunch and a little stroll around Saluda. Pisgah Brewery and Lookout in Black Mountain are also amazing spots!
