The location is great and the property is large. Very comfortable and , we did some cooking as well. Enjoyed sitting on the patio with a spritz and appetizers watching the world go by in Bagni di Lucca. Rob & Dona are amazing hosts, we will be going back soon as soon as our property deal closes there.

When we booked this villa we were hopefully optimistic that the property would in fact be as amazing as the photos. Our booking process was easy much because of Rob and his quick, clear and direct responses. We felt at ease with him immediately. We were arriving via cruise ship and had arranged a driver to take us from our second last port to the Villa but awoke the morning of our departure day only to find out that due to mechanical issues our ship had bypassed the Livorno port and went straight onto our disembarkment port 4 hours in the wrong direction! We were frazzled to say the least. Our ship offered zero help and zero compensation but with one "mayday call", Rob researched all trains and routes, emailing us schedules and transfer info all while "talking us off the ledge" with his calm and organized demeanor. It actually became a little of an adventure with him as our guide. He arranged for transportation for us from the train station and we arrived to an amazing bottle of Red located just inside our Italian Paradise! The pictures DO NOT do the villa justice! It was immaculately clean, bright, airy and spacious. The furniture and fixtures surpassed "high end" yet you felt incredibly invited and comfortable to sit anywhere. The bed? Almost more comfortable than home and layered in the most opulent and comfy linens! The bathroom and kitchen were modern with clean lines and functionality. One night we even shopped at the local "grocery" store (2 min away if you crawled) and cooked the most amazing pasta meal all with local fresh ingredients and amazing cheeses. I do have to say that I am still guilty of "range envy"... that 6 burner, top of the line gas range was dreamy to cook with.. We arranged two wine tours around Tuscany that were so easy to get to. The location of this "home" is seconds to everything. The "easy to navigate" bus system, 5 min drive/bus to train station, the most delicious coffee, pasta, baked goods at the amazing "Bar Italia".. the list never ends. Our favourite part was relaxing while reading our books with wine and cheese on the balcony overlooking the river and chatting with those walking by that just stop to say hello. Any question we had, Rob was there to answer and assist. Out of 21 days of Europe - these 6 days were by far our favourite ones. You will not be disappointed. We can't wait to return! Bravo Rob!
