About this cottage rental
We are so pleased to offer you this beautiful, newly renovated
lakeside cottage with lake rights and views of Oneida Lake! We have made every
effort to allow all visitors to feel completely at home! The handicap
accessible house is just steps away from a sandy beach (a rarity on Oneida
Lake), gorgeous sunsets over the water, and is in a quiet setting-- all within
10 minutes of Turning Stone Casino, Sylvan Beach, the Boxing Hall of Fame and
the town of Canastota (grocery store, shops and restaurants). Our property is
newly renovated and has all the amenities. This bright, two bedroom cottage with
an open floor plan has a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room, 1 ½ baths,
and an enclosed front porch. It boasts easy access (120 ft. away) to a sandy beach,
ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and soaking up incredible sunsets every night. There
is a very gradual increase in depth of water from the shoreline, and the bottom
of the lake is soft and sandy, making swimming conditions incredibly safe and
optimal for children and pets. The wooden deck and concrete patio behind the
house are ideal for campfires around the fire pit, making for a casual evening of
fun after a day in the sun.

This property offered everything to make our stay perfect! The hosts are amazing! The cottage has everything that is needed.The amenities for the water made our experience over the top. The shallow water and sandy beach along with the use of kayaks and paddle boards were perfect for my grandchildren (ages 4 and 6.5). We visted Fort Ricky Game Farm, Verona Beach State Park (excellent place to ride scooters) and Sylvan Beach Amusement Park when we weren't in the lake. A fire every night was the perfect ending to our wonderful days. My family and I would definitely recommend this property!

This place was great and the owner was so communicative; and, the lake and setting were so peaceful that it was a great trip for all (including doggy!) Having kayaks and a very clean place to stay really helped close out the summer nicely. We were there just after Labor Day and had the whole lake / beach area pretty much to ourselves. We also went hiking not too far away and plenty of grocery shops and necessities within a 15 min drive. Would definitely come back again!
