Chic Metro Apartment with Free Parking and Air-con

Location was amazing. We were right in the middle of all the activities of the CBD. It was ideal to have parking, one less thing to worry about. Great size, all the mod cons you’d expect of a high quality property, super clean and comfortable.

Great location in Auckland CBD, with a free carpark! The apartment was modern, fully equipped and very clean with great linen and comfy bed. Great communication from the hosts with clear instructions re self check in.

Area was central. It was clean. There was designated car parking. Apartment was nice. Coffee and tea was available. The smart TV was excellent.

Getting to the lockbox was difficult. It was raining and there was no parking near the lockbox which was locked to a tree nowhere near the front door of the building. Parking was in an again different place than the apartment. I had to go to three different places (in the rain) to check-in. The biggest concern was that there were additional steps outside of booking.com that were intrusive. They required a copy of my drivers license, a full bust picture of me, another $300 bond. This was after I completed all the required steps from booking.com. They told me this was explicitly in place to protect them while using booking.com. I have no idea if my driver's license, photogenic likeness, or credit card number has been destroyed as there was no privacy statement. I had no protections against arbitrary expenses as I had no idea as to what they considered damage. I felt very exposed.
