About this chalet rental
This is our custom built timber-frame post and beam home, built in 2006. Home has a certified short term rental permit from the Town of Woodstock: permit #21N-147. Home is equipped with a stone fireplace, wood stove and wood planked floors. Although there is always plenty of fresh mountain air, the home was built with a custom indoor air 'Lifebreathe System' which continually rejuvenates our home with fresh, clean outdoor air 365 days a year. In 2018, we have installed top of the line Mitsubishi Air Conditioning/Heating split units in all 3 bedrooms in addition to the great room. This non smoking home is loaded with lovely mountain decor. There is a beautiful outdoor stone fire pit surrounded by a stone patio which has a view of the mountains by day and of the spectacular ' Milky Way ' by night. This is a perfect escape for anyone.
The home is located on a private gravel road and secluded mountainside within minutes of town. It offers privacy and amazing views from virtually every room of the home. Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed, bedroom #2 has three twin beds, bedroom #3 has a queen sized bed. Great room has a full size pull out sofa. House sleeps 8.
Huge deck, stone patio, fire pit and large porch overlooking mountains, BBQ grill supplied. Cathedral ceilings and sunny open floor plan downstairs with living room, dining area, kitchen. Screened in porch with propane fire pit table overlooks mountain ranges. Relax and enjoy the wildlife of turkey, deer, bats, birds and the occasional black bear. Children can flip rocks and find numerous salamander and newts.

This was a girls weekend and what an amazing weekend. The house was even better than the photos. Warm and inviting with attention to detail throughout the home. It made our stay very enjoyable to feel relaxed and comfortable in this home that is in a secluded are with spectacular views of the Catskills. It’s the best of both worlds, secluded yet less than 10 minutes drive to Tinker Stteet.
