Kayaking around Newry Island is a popular weekend treat for some as is using a SUP.
February there is a Dragon Boat race around the island called Kalang River Classic.

Anchors Restaurant is on the Wharf in Urunga and overlooks the river with the very best views. The venue is absolutely stylish-modern.
It menu has been said to be exquisite seafood with all the famous classics. An excellent location for that special celebration or romantic dinner by the waters edge.
In the afternoon, You could just go for a few beers or grab that well deserved
Coffee and Cake treat.

Absolutely 10/10. This place is one of the best places we have stayed. So clean, location was incredible for 2 boys who love to fish. Walking distance to town. Value for money!! Thanks for having us Paula and Matt we will definetely be back soon.

This place is amazing. We had an awesome experience especially with the river behind the house. the view is beautiful. rooms were clean and well serviced.

Coffee machine or plunger (we were not tea drinkers and there is no take away cafe near to house) A few staples in the kitchen does help guests (baking paper, oils salt and pepper shakers can help guests it helps keep some of the baking dishes cleaner over time)

Great location, house was kept very tidy and clean.
Beautiful view of the river.
No gas in gas bottle to use the bbq, we replaced that at the service station.
I understand cameras at the front of the property for security but to have them all around the house is very strange. Given the visitors paying to stay there are entitled and have a right to privacy. It honestly felt like you were being watched consistently when sitting out the back, In saying this the led lights came on for every movement made (people moving or trees blowing around) and at one point we heard someone cough, the neighbours were not home and it sounded like it was coming from the camera closest to the back door 😒. Once we heard that we spent the rest of the day inside or away from the house.
