Welcome to Stony Creek Lodge, a charming 100% whole chestnut log cabin built in 1950, nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains. This peaceful and private retreat offers stunning, unobstructed views of a trout-stocked creek from every window, all accessible from a secluded dead-end road. Perfect for nature lovers seeking tranquility and picturesque surroundings.
The cabin comfortably sleeps six guests across three bedrooms—with queen beds—making it ideal for families or groups. The expansive great room features beautiful log accents, soaring ceilings, and a cozy gas fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. An oversized leather sectional provides ample seating for everyone, while the upstairs loft overlooks the main living space, offering an additional relaxing area.
The dining area seats six, and the country-style kitchen accommodates two guests, both rooms overlooking the rushing creek. Equipped with full-size appliances, the kitchen makes meal preparation easy and enjoyable. Step outside onto the 40-foot concrete patio, which overlooks a half-acre lawn and the creek—perfect for outdoor entertaining. The patio includes a wood-burning outdoor fireplace, a gas grill, and seating for six, ideal for meals or relaxing evenings under the stars.
Your stay includes fresh linens, dishes, cookware, and one tank of propane gas. Guests are responsible for providing bottled drinking water; the home is supplied with filtered well water.

Cabin was comfortable, all decked out for Christmas! Very prompt clean up Sat morning after a nasty ice storm. The gas fireplace was perfect for the cold weather and we enjoyed the quiet slowdown after the hustle of the holiday. Very prompt response from the manager for all my questions.

The floors sagged horribly in the center of house from settling. Nearly 1" step (no thresholds) from exterior rooms to the center because they put a thick tile floor in to mask the unlevel floors. Toilet seat was loose and wobbly. Bathroom sink flopped all around because a broken nut. All coffee mugs has coffee stains we had to clean. Fridge refused to keep cool, even when on max setting. Dryer had 3 s curves in the exhaust hose that prevented dryer from exhausting properly, on top of exterior vent clogged completely with lint. Porch and patio had a ton of debris on it. It hasn't been swept of blown off in some time. One rocker on porch was partially separated and nearly collapsed. One plastic Adirondack chair at fire pit was completely broken. There is only one single lane bridge into the mountain. It was closed for half a day. The clubhouse stated they notified all home owners. Host was unaware. We were stuck on the mountain for a day. Host was very kind and polite. They provided a thoughtful gift for our 10 yr anniversary. They provided a fresh bag of ground coffee. Plenty of TVs. Beds were made nicely. The inside of the house was tidy and clean - minus the multiple stains and burn marks in the carpets.
