A great place to stay for a short visit to Exeter. We hope to return.

Excellent location and really good value for money. Clean, modern apartment in an interesting building. Lovely big, comfortable beds, Easy parking and we were allowed to leave our car for a while longer after we had checked out. We were allowed to adjust our booking when we realised different dates would actually suit us better. We would definitely book again.

Tiny things that would be “even better if”: TV in the second bedroom didn’t connect to internet, there were limited shelves in the bathrooms. But these did not detract from our stay.

Beautiful apartment but uncomfortable bed and poor shower pressure

Spotlessly clean throughout and extremely well presented with an eye for detail being very apparent Lovely spacious kitchen equipped with everything required. It was nice to have the use of a hob and also oven if required The apartment was nice and warm throughout upon arrival and it was great that I was able to moderate the temperature myself

The bed was very uncomfortable and the bedding was poor quality, paper thin quilt for winter! There was a thin over blanket which too was poor quality and provided very little warmth, I had to get up in the middle of the night to put on leggings and bed socks. The pillows had no buoyancy, similar to the mattress in that respect. The sheet over the mattress was also poor quality. In all fairness, once I brought the matter of lack of warm bedding to the attention of the proprietor I was provided with a nice thick warm blanket which made the world of difference The shower did not run on full pressure, it was okay to use but I had hoped for it to be firing on all jets which it didn't The bedside lamps were attached to the wall, the on/off switch being located out of reach which meant I needed to get out of bed to turn it on and off. A lamp on the bedside cabinet would have been more convenient The wardrobe space was inaccessible to me. The hanging bar for clothes was well out of my reach (I am 5ft 2ins) I therefore needed to drape my clothes over what ever suited. There was a lower bar in the wardrobe , but it was so low that my clothes would be touching the floor I was surprised that there were no coasters as these would help to prevent any marking

Always great to stay in Exeter, having somewhere nice to stay is important.

Have stayed here a couple of times with no problems, this time there was torrential rain and a leak. It was dealt with professionally with great responsive comms. It didn’t spoil our stay. The place is great, very central and has its own parking. Would recommend and will stay again.

Very clean, and in a quiet location but very close to the busier areas of Exeter. About 10 minutes to the Cathedral, 10 minutes to the railway station. Simon very kindly let us check out half an hour late, so we didn't have to hang around on a rainy morning for our train.

As others have said, it would be good to have a few tea bags provided. We used to take our own, but found so many places provided them we stopped taking them. It's a nuisance to buy a pack of 40 tea bags when you'll only need 4!

The smell of smoke and general cleanliness. Bedroom door handle was on the side but not fitted. Marked coffee table (possibly with cigarette burns given the smell)

Its proximity to city centre and the spaciousness of the rooms

Everything was perfect. Possibly could have done with a coat stand or rack in the hall and a shelf in each bathroom for toiletries. Other than that it was great.

With better attention by staff and adequate sound insulation this would be a great vacation flat.

Good city centre location with parking. Overall facilties were fine and the apartment clean.

We had to chase the manager to get key instructions, after we arrived at property. Poor sound insulation (single glazing) with loud people both hanging around outside and very noisy revellers inside the property in ealry hours of morning. No staff anywhere near to deal with issues. Generally improved property maintenance would be good. Fire safety of egress from flats marginal.

Promised much, in reality it could have been so much better.

Good central location. Parking. Clean. All these were very good.

We did not feel welcome. Overall there was a strong unfriendly vibe. Some examples: 1) There were no instructions how to work anything so when the washer drier 'swallowed' our clothes we had to spend an hour or so online researching how to rescue them. 2) There was no apparent way to work the central heating so in the mornings we put the oven on to give a bit of warmth. 3) What appeared to be a cylindrical tower heater in the bedroom just blew cold air. 4) There was no apparent way to get the extractor fan in the shower room to work. 5) The broken lamp in the bedroom and other small broken/ missing bits gave an 'uncared for' impression. 6) Only 3 or 4 mugs, knives, forks, teaspoons meant that we were washing up by hand every day (did not dare to chance the dishwasher). 7) No visitors book to report the above privately. We did not contact the owner while there and have to hang around for someone to come. It was with some relief when we left.

Great location, good size rooms, lack of due maintenance and not clean

The location of the property was great and that there was parking available. The owner was generous to let me keep my car there for a bit longer after my checkout due to my activities on the last day of my stay. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space.

The property was not clean to a standard that would be expected for a guest to stay in. There were urine stains on the outside of the toilet bowl running down onto the pedestal. The toilet seat kept falling down onto my back whilst using the toilet. There was mould on the showerhead and grime on the shower fixtures. There was dust all over the blinds in all rooms. The crockery and cutlery were not clean and I needed to wash everything before I used it. Dust was also present on the bedside tables and in the wardrobe. There was also hairs in the bedding that were not mine. The place could do with a repaint. There were patches of mould and damp on the ceiling.

Great size bedroom, nicely decorated bathroom (but did have some issues with shower head and shower taps) living room nice size Location was good, 3 minutes walk to town centre.

This landlord is a piece of garbage. He only lived for one day. On Tuesday, the landlord called the immigration bureau and the police to kick me out. He also sent a message threatening that there was illegal activity in the room. I don't understand why there was illegal activity in the room that was just a house tour. It was just a damage to my reputation. The landlord who threatened the tenant like this was a garbage the first time I met him.

Very clean. In centre of Exeter but tucked away from busy street. Perfect for little family with kitchen and laundry. Bed is big and comfortable!
