Excellent location and really good value for money. Clean, modern apartment in an interesting building. Lovely big, comfortable beds, Easy parking and we were allowed to leave our car for a while longer after we had checked out. We were allowed to adjust our booking when we realised different dates would actually suit us better. We would definitely book again.
Tiny things that would be “even better if”: TV in the second bedroom didn’t connect to internet, there were limited shelves in the bathrooms. But these did not detract from our stay.

Spotlessly clean throughout and extremely well presented with an eye for detail being very apparent
Lovely spacious kitchen equipped with everything required. It was nice to have the use of a hob and also oven if required
The apartment was nice and warm throughout upon arrival and it was great that I was able to moderate the temperature myself
The bed was very uncomfortable and the bedding was poor quality, paper thin quilt for winter! There was a thin over blanket which too was poor quality and provided very little warmth, I had to get up in the middle of the night to put on leggings and bed socks. The pillows had no buoyancy, similar to the mattress in that respect. The sheet over the mattress was also poor quality. In all fairness, once I brought the matter of lack of warm bedding to the attention of the proprietor I was provided with a nice thick warm blanket which made the world of difference
The shower did not run on full pressure, it was okay to use but I had hoped for it to be firing on all jets which it didn't
The bedside lamps were attached to the wall, the on/off switch being located out of reach which meant I needed to get out of bed to turn it on and off. A lamp on the bedside cabinet would have been more convenient
The wardrobe space was inaccessible to me. The hanging bar for clothes was well out of my reach (I am 5ft 2ins)
I therefore needed to drape my clothes over what ever suited. There was a lower bar in the wardrobe , but it was so low that my clothes would be touching the floor
I was surprised that there were no coasters as these would help to prevent any marking

Good situation in a scruffy street but two minutes walk from the cathedral and shops. Easy parking. Comfortable big bed.
Cold and took a while to warm up. Draughty with windows in the main room, woodwork on the (potentially beautiful) windows with broken and battered- you could see where some glass had had sellotape on to hold in place. Clear that a lot of money needed to spent. Very poorly equipped kitchen- no coffee pot or facilities for making such. Bathrooms basic. WiFi didn’t work (password provided was not recognised).
