This mountain cabin is as lovely as pictured. I was there with my adult son and daughter and found it to be a perfect place to relax and spend family time together. The three of us barely left the cabin for four days, although extended family staying nearby hit all the "tourist" spots and had a wonderful time.We sat on the deck and drank wine, read books and soaked in the hot tub. It was a perfect place to escape and just relax. The only "complaint" was the extremely high water pressure in the showers. My son loved it, but my daughter and I felt as if our skin was being sandblasted! Be prepared if you bring children, not just because of the water pressure, but the area is very steep, with drop offs that seemed dangerous. Fine for adults, but I would not let little ones outside without supervision. I would also advise you to try to arrive in the daylight. The access roads are very dark and steep. I was white knuckle driving to the cabin the first night, but it was much easier in the daylight. These things are to be expected in a mountain retreat. Booking was easy and the host was responsive when we had difficulty with the outside lighting, evening though it was late evening weh we contacted them. All three of us enjoyed our stay and recommend this home for a peaceful adult gathering.

Everything was great!! The cabin was nice and cozy. Tom and Lois were excellent with communicating information leading up to our arrival. Will definitely stay here again!!

The hot tub water was not clean it had a odor. The stove look like it was clean with a dirty rag. there was four of us and we only had 5 towels had to wash them often. the home is not stocked like all the others we have rented. would have been a great place other then the things I said.
