It was what I wanted. It was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you.
The cottage was warm and clean. The log burner was ready to light, altho we didn't use it. We found the cottage warm enough. The views were beautiful. The shower was great and there was plenty of hotwater.
There could have been more pots in the kitchen. Somewhere outside to hang a washing, and a toilet roll holder would also have been handy. We were also given the wrong postcode. So we ended up in the wrong place.fortunately we were not too far away.

Booking .com were supposed to send directions and info about entry to cottage this never happend so had to contact the owner. Not good enough Booking .com. The owners however were very helpful indeed.

Needs urgent TLC Location lovely though
The location was amazing a really pretty place. The garden was good all enclosed for the dogs The host was nice but the whole place needs upgrading and a thorough deep clean.
Very damp. Bedroom upstairs leaked window seal soaked as was the carpet. Bedroom downstairs walls soaked and wet carpet paint peeling off the walls.. Front door needs replacing wind blowing under the big gap. Joined to a derelict building which was partly under the upstairs bedroom so freezing. Central heating was enclosed in a locked box which I have never seen before and is really tight considering how cold the cottage was and only came on for a few hours. Pat tests out of date. It seemed everything was done on the cheap. Cheapest toaster which.burns rubbish kettle etc. The beds were very uncomfortable and damp. Stains on mattresses. Not cleaned properly for years I would say. Everything is very old and it seems to be oh let's shove that in the cottage. Pictures not like what we actually got. Maybe 15 years ago. The whole place needs to be refurbished. It's a shame because if money was spent on both properties it would be lovely. Wifi was next to useless The hotel grade matresses were stained and the duvets covered in sweat stains. I hope this review helps others

Bit of kindling - a generous basket of logs was supplied for the wood burner.

Pleasant
Lovely location very close to the beach and good for star gazing. The children loved climbing the rocks and exploring the rock pools. Tea and coffee welcome pack was appreciated. Remote location if you want to get away from it all, good base to explore Southern Scotland.
The cottage was nice and well equipped but some areas need a little TLC.
