Lovely clean apartment, with everything you need for your stay, plus a nice little pool which we had to ourselves when we had a few hours to spare. The owner Martina gave us some information on a few things to do and see and places to eat.

Nothing, everything was ok, its about a 25 minute walk to the old town or you can take an Uber for between 4 -6 euros.

We had a very lovely stay here.

There is a fantastic park nearby with everything you can imagine and more! Zadar old town is approx 25 mins walk so no problems getting in or out and only cost 6euros for taxi when we felt lazy. There is a huge supermarket about 12 mins walk away on the other side of the park. The host was brilliantly helpful and very considerate.

The pool area is shared with other guests, but it is still a lovely place to relax after a day exploring. The terrace directly outside the patio door has planting to give it privacy.

The pool was lovely and there was everything you needed. Comfortable outdoor furniture.

We ran out of hot water when showering. There was lots of building work going on (it wasn’t noisy though) and the housing estate wasn’t finished along with the roads.

Beautiful and peaceful stay

We have just come back from a 1 week stay at this apartment and we can honestly say it was brilliant, the room had all the amenities you need. The pool and pool area was immaculate throughout the week. The host martina is lovely she gave us lots of reccomendations on where to eat and we are greatful that she helped us with a late checkout on the last day due to our flight being so late. In terms of location its roughly 25 minute to walk to the old town (or a €5/5min uber) and about 10 minutes to the Kaufland super market. 15 minutes uber from the airport (~€15).

The apartment had everything that we needed. Comfy bed, space to relax and facilities to cook. The outside area was clean and spacious. The pool was ideal. The location was quiet. Far enough away from the busy town area, but walkable with small café bars along the way. We are already thinking about returning next year.

Please be mindful of the mosquitos in the evening around the pool, as with most holiday destinations.

A perfect stay for our family’s first visit to Croatia

We loved our stay at Martina’s apartment. It is modern, comfortable and well equipped. The pool area is spotless and our three children loved swimming everyday. It is literally a 10 minute drive from the airport. Uber works fantastically well in Zadar; taxis arrive in minutes and everywhere is a few pound to travel to. We did walk to the old town but this does take 25 mins so treat yourself to air con in a taxi! The supermarket is a 10 minute walk but there is a small shop and bar / cafe five minutes away. Zadar has so much to offer - it is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city full of history coupled with some modern tourist attractions such as the ‘greeting to the sun’ and the sea organ. Stroll around, enjoy coffee in the square or shop! There’s a brilliant fresh food market: our favourite meal was at Providur. A stunning balcony with old Roman ruins for views, superb service and mouthwatering food. Children are well catered for in Zadar. We often just asked for an extra plate for my youngest and this was no bother. You can walk to a couple of restaurants near to the apartment: we liked Gusti for pizza. A huge sports park is a five minute walk away, we loved walking through here watching the hive of activity. You can join in the outdoor gym, play areas or table tennis all for free! Martina is an attentive host; she speaks brilliant English and was always on-hand for advice or travel tips. We really were sad to leave Home Sweet Apartments; the three apartments share the pool, my family of five had the three bedroom one, which is on two floors enjoying a balcony which is always in the sun. My parents rented one of the one-bedroom apartments. Areas for each apartment are clearly suggested for around the pool and the sun loungers are very comfortable. There is a washing machine and dishwasher. Thank you Martina and family for giving us an amazing first holiday to Croatia - we cannot recommend your apartment enough.

A cafetière for ground coffee would be a great addition.

Ignore any bad reviews, this apartment was perfect! It was not hard to find at all as stated previously and it is Close to Zadar town; 20 minute walk or £3-£5 in uber.) The apartment has a nice pool. The best part about this apartment in the lovely host who were very kind and helpful.

Didn't like it

Bed was very comfortable. And the pool is a plus.

The apartments very very very difficult to find. As the number "23i " was on a little street before the house " h". We spend 20 min walking around, asking neighbors who were not helpful, and we're bothered that we are parking on the parking spots in front of their houses. The location of the apartments is in an area where no body would stay to enjoy it. Homes and concrete walls, nothing nice too look at. Cars parked all over the little streets. Nothing interesting in walking distance, definitely having a car it's a must. The parking was very very claustrophobic, small and difficult to park. The apartment it self, didn't look at all like on the marketing pictures. It was rather small, and everything in it was tiny. The thing that stroke me the most was the decorations, and furniture quality. On the advertisement pictures everything this looks amazing and wonderful, and spacy, in reality the furniture is basic and Ikea quality and the verious decorations that make the place look so unique, are simply not there. Limited amount of hot water, due to the small boiler in the bathroom. One of us had to shower in cold water. I felt sad, and my partner was mad at me for choosing such places.

Martina laat je onmiddellijk thuis voelen in het appartement. Heel lieve gastvrouw, veel tips gekregen welke plekken we konden bezoeken en waar we lekker konden eten. Beetje rijden tot centrum maar parkeer je aan de supermarkt kaufland dat is gratis dan is het nog 15 minuten stappen in het centrum zelf is het moeilijk plek te vinden Of uber

Klein puntje, er was wat weinig opbergruimte voor je kledij en klein kastje op de badkamer.
