The cabin itself was homely and a good size. We travelled with our 4 year old, 3 month old and German shepherd. We found the cabin to be a perfect fit for us and having the grass paddock next to us was perfect for the dog. We had good communication with the host and found getting to the cabin very accessible. It was well stocked with essentials needed for our stay. The cabin was filled with plenty of lovely little touches, including artwork, maps and board games. We felt very comfortable and the cosiness of the cabin teamed with the downpours of rain made for a really lovely trip.

The noise from the extractor fan in the bathroom was excessive. Black mould around shower base could do with being dealt with.

We liked that it was quiet and only one other cabin was occupied. The cabin next to us was empty which was a bonus to us. Had it been occupied we would not have been happy as the cabin is very close next door and we would have had no privacy at all. We had problems with our van and the lads on the farm were so helpful and went out if their way to help us. We were so grateful. The host was lovely. Just left us alone

The cabin next to us was unoccupied. The 2 cabins are quite close together and had it been occupied we feel that we would have lacked privacy. Very narrow lanes single tract roads around the farm. No washing machine or clothes washing facilities. No washing line to hang out hand washed clothing.
