A pleasant stay which was well worth the money.

Bed comfy, shower powerful, clean & tidy and surprisingly spacious. Provided with Soap & washing up liquid which was appreciated. Heating was easy to work. Bedroom was very cosy and did give that log cabin feel. Great having a BBQ to use. DVDS & games are a lovely touch too. Bedding and towels well laundered and good quality. Contact with host was just enough and we appreciated being left to our own devices. Everything worked well and cabin had everything we needed for cooking etc I really like the mugs and teapot. Also curtains and blinds were lovely and in fitting with that log cabin vibe.

GIGANTIC spider on first night joined us - not your fault of course and apologies if you heard the scream! But I was terrified after that! Ha I can’t lie, we were a bit unsure when we first arrived, but once we unpacked and settled in, it soon felt cosy & homely. We would have liked some store cupboard supplies like salt & pepper, sugar too possibly, but understand these are not always provided in holiday lets. I feel it just adds that little extra touch. We thought initially the TV was small and quite far away from sofa, we’d planned for movie nights so was a bit disappointed, but once we got used to it, it was actually okay (we’re probably spoilt at home). Other cabins seemed to get the sun all day and were looking over the paddock instead of the carpark, and they had log burners which we’d of preferred so next time we’d book one of them.

Beautiful, tranquil getaway

Beautiful peaceful area. Amazing views and great location for a complete relaxing Christmas getaway. Diana was an exemplary host and nothing was too much trouble for her and her daughters, especially as our stay was all over Christmas! We will definitely be returning.

Cosy central dog friendly place

Great central location so quick to get to all places. Very dog friendly. All you need available.

Stayed before and slept upstairs and personally I didn’t enjoy it as an adult. Probably fun for kids. This time I had the bed downstairs and all was good.

Perfect and just what we needed!

Very clean and well equipped. Owner was incredibly accommodating. We liked it so much and decided to stay an extra night. The property is quite rural so very peaceful but central to everywhere on Anglesey. Would definitely come back

The look of the property, very quaint, and I thought we were having a double bed down stairs. Location was rural

In the cabin they gave us, the main bed was in the loft, and a fold out sofa in the lounge. Have to access the loft via a ladder!!! We’re in our 60’s with disabilities- no way can I safely get up and down to the loft. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable. There was no welcoming tea or coffee sachets, no anything. Not even oven gloves to get food safely out of the oven. Very little equipment for cooking. TV was so tiny. Could hardly see it. The owners should have asked our ages and whether had any disabilities, we would not have gone there. We left a day early because of this.

Comfy and relaxing in a stunning scenery.

The location was stunning and close to so many other nice spots like the seaside. It was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the company of cows and horses in the adjacent fields.

It would have been good if a shower head was fitted.

The fridge had an ‘off’ smell inside it and the bed in ‘Lucy’s Nest’ is a mattress on the floor and you have you climb up some steep ladders to access

Lovely cabin and location, could be made a little more comfortable

The place is beautiful, quiet and isolated. If you crave to be away from the noise of cars, businesses and people, it’s an ideal retreat. The host, Diana, was lovely, friendly and very responsive. The cabin is pretty and cosy and equipped with the essentials like towels, bedding, plates, etc. We asked for extra bedding/pillows and our host complied promptly. We enjoyed looking at the farm animals and the birds, and overall the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

I should say we are city dwellers and not very used to rural life! Most of the things we struggled with were specified in the ad, so we should have read more carefully. There is no shower head (only bathtub) so if you want to wash your hair, you should be prepared to use the pasta pot for rinsing. :D The wood fire makes the cabin very cosy but with no alternative in case of little wind, we really froze one night. Also the equipment is very basic and some needed a clean, but that was probably more due to the previous guests. The WiFi was very poor, with a single router for all the cabins I would guess, so we could not use streaming services or anything like that.

Absolutely fabulous

Everything, cute and cosy . It had everything we needed. It was just marvellous and throughly recommend to anyone wanted a lovely break in beautiful surroundings. The weather didn’t matter as we could relax and create a lovely cosy stay with the wood burner. Diana was just lovely .

Lovely cabins - kids loved it up in the attic beds, quiet countryside setting. Really friendly hosts.

Perhaps a bit far from amenities and beaches for us as a family group (but we knew it might be when we booked), but still only a 20-25 min drive to lovely beaches.

perfect and chilled

Perfect little spot, accommodation was exceptional, ideal location, everything we needed in the lodge .... absolutely loved it so quirky .... the bed in the loft makes it even more special, log fire .... so cosy. Robert met us when we arrived and we spent some time chatting about various topics, a nice balance between ensuring everything was okay and respecting our privacy throughout our 3 nights x

A really relaxing, fun and special break!

The property was really comfortable and perfect for a family set in tranquil surroundings. Diana and Robert were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. Most places on Anglesey were only 30 mins max away given the central location which is ideal to easily explore many stunning coastal locations.

Everything! Stunning property and accommodation. Cleverly set out, enough properties to be friendly and comfortable, and not overcrowded. Far away enough to not hear any traffic, but only 15 minutes or so from any petrol stations / supermarkets etc… Lovely hosts too, very friendly and came out to greet us upon arrival to welcome us, show us our accom and make it known that if we needed anything, they would happily be able to help.

Mattress was a touch firm, however that’s a personal issue that can’t be helped. Everyone has their preference.

Everything, the stay was perfect. Exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. Host was incredibly friendly informative and on hand should you need them. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back and stay again.
