Katsinaros House

We loved staying at Katsinaros house. It was clean and fresh. We appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen so we could cook anything we wanted. Oh, and the AC was super handy. Our host, Manos, was amazing. We arrived pretty late and he still greeted us with a smile and explained everything about the house and the area, and gave great tips. We struggled to book a boat tour online with a pick up from Emporio so when I asked for help, he quickly offered few options and helped us book a caldera tour. The house is located in Emporio, a village away from the crowded areas of Fira and Oia. The closest beach is a bit far, but if you don’t have a car, you can take a local bus (10 min drive, although they run every 20-30 min and the staff on the bus isn’t the friendliest), or walk - 30 ish min.

La amabilidad de Manos fue espectacular,. pendiente de que no nos faltara de nada. La tranquilidad del sitio día y noche, es un remanso de paz!

El.acceso en coche es un poco incómodo por la calle estrecha pero nos hemos movido sin problemas. Volveremos seguro.

La zona es estupenda, con un barrio emergente sin casi aglomeración. Amplio y reformado, era una antigua casa típica de la isla.

El único problema son las estrechas calles para llegar, pero como en toda la isla.

I like everything about this Cycladic house :) It is located in a peaceful area, with a view at the sea. It is nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. Moreover, there is a space at the rooftop which is perfect for sunbathing, reading books and having a dinner in the evening. I also need to mention our host who was super kind to us, welcomed us at the property, showed the house around and provided us with useful information about the attractions, places to eat etc. Efcharisto poli :)
