About this house rental
The lake house is settled in a great, quiet, and relaxing location. The property is about 15-20 minutes away from major destinations such as Johnson City, Bristol and Kingsport. Guests have a beautiful view of the lake from the house. This property is perfect for travelers visiting the Appalachian area of TN for vacation, work and/or school (PA/PT students/clinicals). The house can also be used as a home-base for excursions to Gatlinburg, Asheville/ Biltmore Estate, South Holston Dam/caverns, Watauga Lake, etc. The house offers everything needed for the short or prolong term stays. There are three levels throughout the house (stairs). The main level has an open-concept combined living room and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms and a loft offer very comfortable king, queen, and twin size beds along with large closets. You can simply recharge/relax while drinking coffee and enjoying the lake view from the balcony or go for a swim or fishing off the dock (May-Sept/Oct). Please note that lake level is low during Oct-May (winter dam-maintained season); water typically sits up to 100 m away from the dock, but the view is there 365 days.

We wanted a quiet place to stay while attending the Bristol race and found just that! House was exceptionally equipped with everything needed for a weekend stay. Would highly recommend you check this out....you will not be disappointed. And stairs are great exercise!

The house was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and we got good nights sleep. Being on the lake was a bonus. Took a couple of dips in the lake, water temp was perfect. There are plenty of stairs but it is exactly as pictured. The stairs didn’t bother us.

We enjoyed our stay at this location so much. The sunrises at this location were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen! The property was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We found everything needed for a great stay plus some little treats that were not expected.
The host responded quickly to any questions or issues we had along the way. Just a note for anyone not able to climb stairs this is not the place for you. There is no bedroom on the main floor so stairs are a must.
This is truly a wonderful place that I would not hesitate to return to again and again!
