Four Seasons of Northern Michigan Fun in this Newly Remodeled Chalet Style Home. Situated on 4+ acres nestled in the woods on the Beautiful Clam River. Just mins to Cadillac and Lake City. Surrounded by wildlife galore. Minutes to several All-Sports Lakes for fishing, swimming, kayaking and boating.
**The Clam river is beautiful to wade in, to splash and cool off or to catch minnows, it’s usually about knee deep, not good for kayaking or fishing.

(Please be aware of the sleeping arrangements, there are three single beds in a bedroom upstairs, another single in a second bedroom up, and a king sized bed in the loft upstairs. There are two queen options on the main level, one in a bedroom and the second is a pull out sofa.)
*Quiet time is 10pm, this is not a party spot. While we welcome up to ten people, we do not encourage a party or family reunion. (It’s too much stress on the well and septic system to have any more people than ten.) No fireworks! (Fire Hazard with the heavily wooded setting.)
Plenty of parking for Several Vehicles.

My friend group has been making a yearly trip north to enjoy the colors and this property is a wonderful place for us to gather.

Pride of ownership was evident from the moment we pulled up to the home! Beautiful property from the play place/sandbox, to the fire pit, to the gazebo, to the river, to the deck and finally into the house where it did not stop! Our 2 younger grandchildren (3 & 4) loved the children’s table and chairs and the rocker as well as all the toys and games. Our daughter-in-law loved the baby gate for the stairs, she said the owners thought of everything for renters with children! Great location for enjoying Cadillac, Lake City and beyond!

Each summer, my mother, my three sisters, and 2 of our daughters (7 & 27) spend a girls weekend together. One sister and her young daughter were not able to come at the last minute - and that was a bummer. The 7 year old would have loved the room to run, the play set, the gazebo, the loft bedroom, the clear and sandy bottomed river. The river was perfect for wading in and cooling off. It was kneed deep on the adults. I think our little would have been able to use a floaty. It is so pretty and private down by the river that you feel a million miles from anywhere - but downtown Cadillac is 15 minutes away!! My favorite are was by the fire pit. We had brought side tables, but those were already there with the beautiful Adirondack chairs. The stone work is beautiful and it is the perfect place to enjoy a fire. We had also brought kindling - but that was already there, too!We all thoroughly enjoyed a really relaxing stay!
