Amazing place - authentic, beautifully decorated, fully equipped with all you might need. The host is very hospitable, the location is perfect and the experience- unforgettable.

From the hospitality of Joe, to experiencing the charm of the Amelie guesthouse, every moment was wonderful. The guesthouse is perfectly placed in tge centre of historical Rabat, where you have all the amenities and restaurants close by. Amelie offers a pleasant ambience with lots of historical character. It is spacious, very clean offering a spacious kitchen in the cellar. The lounge is situated comfortably on the ground floor, with a convenient downstairs toilet. The bed, and bedroom offer comfort and a peaceful environment. Moving on upstairs, there is a nice spacious bathroom with a walk in shower, where finally you reach the terrace on the roof which offers wonderful views, and furniture you can relax on enjoying the sunrise, or sunset.

De locatie van dit huis in het centrum van Rabat is op loopafstand van de Mdina is. De Mdina is in de avond, na het vertrek van de dagelijkse toeristen, echt betoverend. Verreweg naar onze mening de mooiste locatie op Malta. Er zijn ook verschillende goede restaurants, trattoria AD 1530 (toegangspoort Mdina en dan rechts) was ons favoriete restaurant. Ook het dakterras van het het huis is heerlijk. Ontbijt in de vroege ochtendzon of nog een sundowner onder de sterrenhemel. Parkeren kan soms een uitdaging zijn, maar je vindt altijd wel een plek.
De straat waar het huis aan ligt is in de avond en vroeg in de ochtend best wel druk met verkeer. Overigens is het later op de avond wel stil.

The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a home from home feel.
The location was perfect for exploring Rabat and Mdina and the choice of restaurants was great. A wonderful stay in a wonderful location.
Parking is difficult.
