Chalet Mondjoin

The Chalet Mondjoin is a super cosy chalet off the beaten track with sun on the balcony/terrace from morning until evening and a fantastic view of the mountains and valley below! One positive thing that you can't see on the photos and that isn't mentioned in the description is a small mezzanine with a ladder to reach it. There is no noise barrier but it's secluded enough to have a couple of children sleep there. The hosts were super nice and helpful! They answered all our questions and helped out with lot's of things. We loved that the chalet was not situated in a resort or next to the road running through the valley! It's lovely to come "home" after skiing and be able to fully relax without after ski music hammering outside or cars passing by in a regular stream!

Although very cosy and brilliant in many ways, the chalet is not super practical. The door to the toilet is situated in the bedroom downstairs and the access to the shower as well. We did know this when we rented the chalet and we chose it anyway because it looked so cosy and bright and had a lovely view. The chalet is best suited for a couple I guess. Every time someone goes to the toilet during the night you wake up if you sleep in the main bedroom. The kitchen was also very small and didn't have a dish washer or an oven (but a microwave). There was no dish rack to put the clean dishes on and no space to cut anything when cooking.
