About this house rental
The house is in the old Venetian harbor of Chania with fantastic view from the balcony, 20 meters from the water and 5 minutes from the commercial center. In the area you will find many restaurants, taverns, bars and historical sites. It has private parking, although a car is not necessary, only if you want to explore the island.
Renovated and fully equipped with direct access to the old Venetian harbor of Chania. The maisonette has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the 2nd floor, 2 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds and can accommodate up to 6 people plus an extra person if needed on the couch down in the living room. All bedroom furniture, mattresses and linen are new. All rooms have air conditioning and 32 "TVs. The view of the front bedrooms in the old port will delight you.
The kitchen, with its new electric appliances, the lounge and a small WC, are located on the first floor with a balcony that allows you to drink your coffee overlooking the fishing boats and the Venetian wall. The house has free Wi-Fi and one of the few private parking in the old town. The famous "Two Lux" coffee bar is just below to enjoy your coffee early in the morning and your drink until late in the evening.
Friendly advice, if you are looking for peace and absolute quiet this is not suitable for you, its better to look for a property outside the town far away from all the action.

Good contact with the host throughout.Very helpful at the end of the stay about leaving luggage and booking a taxi for us to the airport . Very comfortable beds

Everything was good. Apartment was clean, nice view from the terrace close to shops and restaurants. Two things travelers need to know 2 flights up to the apartment and restaurant / bar below below on the street level. Music was audible ( mostly base sound) But with earplugs all was good

This apartment has been recently remodeled and is in a perfect location to explore Old Town Chania. What we liked most about it was the convenience to many of the best restaurants, a parking space (which is very hard to find) and a very good washing machine which is great if you’ve been on the road for awhile. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a fully stocked set of utensils, glasses, plates and pots and pans. We didn’t cook but it had everything if we wanted to. The downstairs rooms have openings that provide good airflow and there’s a small balcony over an active nightlife scene that’s great for a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the water.There are 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs along with the only full bathroom. The bathroom is totally updated and modern and the bedrooms all have new dual-panes windows. Being on a bar scene/cafe street I thought there might be a lot of noise at night, but we never experienced any during our stay though we did take the room away from the street. The greatest thing about this apartment is the property manager Lia. She absolutely does everything possible to make your stay memorable. She gave us specific instructions on how to find the place, allowed us to check-in early, met us on our schedule and provided a wonderful fruit basket upon arrival. She also helped us find a tour group out to Knossos Palace on the only open day we had available, and she allowed us to leave our bags for a late departure even with an incoming party that day. Little things like being able to check-in early or check out late are hugely helpful when you rent a place and are saddled with your luggage and Lia had no problem with satisfying these requests.We had a great time and would definitely rent this place again if we return to Chania.
