About this campground/ rv resort rental
Here at Rock Harbor Cottages we have only 6 units spread across nearly 3 acres with waterfront access on East Harbor. Only a quick ride from the dock to Lake Erie and all she has to offer. 1 Queen bedroom plus a set of twin bunk beds. Sleeps up to 5. Air conditioning, wifi, tv, fire ring, gas grill, and full kitchen, deck with furniture. Free use of the 200 foot dock and covered fish cleaning station. We also offer fishing charters from the property. Sleeps 5, 1 bedrooms, 1 camper size bathroo. With camper sized tub/shower. Extra large hot water heater. 1 Queen bedroom, 1 set of twin bunk beds. In the living room 1 full size futon style sofa. Air Conditioning, heat, flat screen cable tv, and Wifi. It includes a fully equipped kitchen (full size fridge, oven, and stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, all necessary utensils, dishes, pots and pans, ect...). Outside there is a gas grill, fire ring, and outdoor furniture. The cottage is approximately 150 yards from the dock where you can catch bass, bluegill, catfish, perch, and crappie or just sit back and watch the day float by and catch beautiful sunsets. The rental includes a free dock space that can accommodate up to a 22 ft boat. To provide you with the most value and not charge a cleaning fee we ask our guests to bring their own linens. Sheets, pillows, blankets, towels. For a fee of $20 per bed we are happy to provide all linens.

My son and I spent 4 nights here and it was a perfect little get away. Close to Cedar Point. (We have season passes) Also got to go down and see the lighthouse. Big Boppers is within walking distance with great food if you don't feel like cooking but everything you need to cook on site is supplied. Would definitely stay here again.

First off this was soooo clean! I mean spotless. Plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. We met the owner (he was very nice!) and responded immediately to a problem we encountered. The property sat back from the others, had a large area for our dogs, and was very nice and quiet. It is in a great location to go easily to State parks, boat launches, Marblehead and Port Clinton. However, there were some downsides which I feel need addressed to the fairness of travelers and the owners. First the RV is not very big (and is a much older model than we thought), and truthfully no more than 2 adults and maybe 1 child (and only 1 dog tops) could be somewhat comfortable in there. The grill needs to be replaced because the burners are all rusted out and cannot be used (so much for steaks and corn on the grill). The fishing off the dock was a waste of time because of all of the algae so be aware of that if you want to cast out a line during the summer. The bed was super hard which another camper at a cottage also complained about to us. The reason we chose this rental was that we wanted to stay in an RV because we had thought about purchasing one and to see how we liked it. Unless it's a huge 5th wheel that's not going to happen now, so this was a good experience to make us realize that. To summarize this is a great place to stay at if you're only planning to sleep there, cook a few meals, and fish in another area. Still with the downsides we really enjoyed ourselves.
