Perfect for five friends seeking a five bedroom apartment in a fantastic location right on the Saône in the middle of Lyon.

Just like others have mentioned, the pictures online do not do this property justice. It is amazing. Stunning views over the River Saone across to the Old Town from your balcony. The property was spotless clean and the space was amazing. Jacques the host was brilliant and very accommodating. I know its not the cheapest in the area, but it probably is the best. We have never stayed in anything like this before and we have stayed in some great places. It makes you feel like royalty! Thank you to Jacques and his team for a great unforgettable stay.

We had a trip of a lifetime in Paris with our adult children. The apartment is just beautiful and roomy—the large living spaces and layout of bedrooms allowed us to enjoy one another and also have your own space. The location is excellent and close to metro stops which will get you wherever you need to go.

The apartment was as advertised. It’s big, clean and well equipped. Jacques was a responsive and helpful host. The apartment is centrally located and is perfect for accessing old town Lyon, the farmer’s market and other places of interest. The only con is that it was warm while we were there and needed to open the windows, the apartment is on a busy street so there was a lot of road noise. Thank you Jacques for a very nice apartment.

This place is perhaps the best apartment I've ever stayed in, anywhere! High ceilings with ornate moldings and floors, yet warm, and comfortable. Balcony looking at the Soane, huge kitchen with amazing refrigerator and stove. Bedrooms for everyone, luxurious bathrooms and dining room make this unit a special place to be. It made our stay in Lyon extra special. Don't hesitate to stay here, Jaques is quick to respond and help.

Gorgeous apartment with views of the river, so much space and a joy to spend time in. Jacques very kind host including posting to us my daughter’s Invisalign braces which we left! We had some noise from the road but only because we left the windows open at night as it hit 40 degrees C during the day. 5 minute walk from Old Lyon and from Place Bellecour to etc - perfect location to discover Lyon. Recommended

Our check-in went pleasantly well. The apartment is very spacious. I was with my sisters and families who had traveled from USA and Holland. We wanted to cook at the apartment which was a struggle. If you are wanting to cook dinners for a lot of people (we had additional People staying at Sofitel close by), you will find that the kitchen is poorly stocked without ample pots and pans, and even basic kitchen implement like large spoons, spatulas, serving bowls/platters etc. we had been traveling and needed to do laundry, there was no basic supplies like laundry detergent, additional toilet paper, kitchen towels,. It was very hot in Lyon, the beds had winter duvets and no sheets, which meant that we slept with no blanket because the winter duvets are too warm.

Gorgeous and elegant, and the location is perfect. We will always remember our wonderful stay in Lyon. Our young adult children came with friends, we feasted on food from the local markets, and it was fabulous. The apartment could use a few more fans - we were there in a heatwave, and it was a little rough at night. But otherwise delightful.

This is a great apartment with a fantastic location. We rented the apartment as two families traveling together, and it is perfect for a larger group of people. The apartment is clean, well equipped, and perfectly furnished. Since this is a corner apartment, right on the Saône River, it not only has beautiful views, but great ventilation (important during the summer months). The owner is very responsive and helpful. In no small part, thanks to this apartment, we had a wonderful trip. We would definitely rent this apartment again on a future visit to Lyon.

We stayed in this apartment while we attended the Women's World Cup in Lyon. There was plenty of room for our group (2 parents, 2 grandparents, and 3 kids, ages 6, 10, and 13). The apartment is perfection. It is beautiful and clean and just plain wonderful. You have a great view of the river. You are walking distance to busier/more modern Lyon and just across the river from Old Lyon. We walked or metro'd everywhere from this location with no problem at all. Also, the service was impeccable. Jacques made sure we were met when we arrived (after a long day of travel). We were welcomed with a beautiful bottle of champagne. Also, we were in Lyon during the heat wave, but the apartment does not have air conditioning. I communicated with Jacques about this before arriving, and he made sure we had a new rotary fan in each bedroom. We were as comfortable as we could ever be thanks to those fans. I just couldn't thank him enough for being so responsive and thoughtful. We hope to go back to Lyon again someday, and we wouldn't say anywhere else. This apartment is worth every single penny and then some. We made so many good memories there--playing cards, making dinner, having croissant in the morning. It is just the perfect home away from home. And, we also got great advice from Jacques and his family regarding dinner. The restaurant just around the corner (Le Comptoir Abel) was amazing. The food and service were beyond. They made us feel like we were at home. So, if you are looking for a place to stay in Lyon, book this home right away. You will not be sorry. We already miss it so much!

We really enjoyed this apartment. The location was excellent, we walked to everything. The apartment is old style but very well done. The kitchen is some distance from the dining room but we did not find that to be a problem. We had a view of the river out of all the front windows. Metro was 2 blocks away. Great restaurants within steps. Ruchon got us parking just a block away and we had two cars. Louis was right there to check us in. Really enjoyed our stay.

We were celebrating a decade birthday for my husband's sister and decided to do so in Lyon. We could not have been happier with our decision . Lyon is a well preserved city with squares and parks and delightful shops. The "old" quarter is not only well preserved - it is still a living part of the city and not just tourists spots. The apartment is beautifully situated with a glorious view of the River Saone through large and elegant windows. The four bedrooms ( plus the extra one we did not use) were spacious and the linens and towels of excellent quality. We did not cook in the apartment except for baguettes and coffee in the morning. We could all gather in the large kitchen and plan our day. Since the apartment was on the first floor we could easily access it through the stairs although there is an elevator . The apartment is maintained to a very high standard and was impeccably clean with modern bathrooms. The one thing we did miss was a guide to some of the local restaurants, boulangeries and other recommendations etc but it was not a problem since within a few blocks there is a wonderful boulangerie, fromagerie and specialty stores. Our host was there to greet us and checked in to be sure all was okay. We definitely recommend the apartment and the entire city of Lyon!

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé dans ce magnifique appartement. Il est très agréable, suffissament grand pour notre famille (6 adultes et 4 enfants) et situé à quelques pas du centre de Lyon.

Lyon Mitte August ist nicht überlaufen - man ist nie im Gedränge, Velofahren macht Spass und ist nicht gefährlich, die Altstadt und die Neubauten wie auch das Rhone-Ufer sind ein Wochenend-Trip wert.
