About this house rental
Incredibly charming and cozy cottage, just 400 m from Høve beach. The house has a kitchen in open combination with a living and dining room. From here you can access the beautiful open terrace where you can relax. In the garden you will find a swing, a sandbox and a fireplace where you can relax in the evening. The house also contains a bathroom with shower and 3 nice bedrooms.
The area is known for its beautiful and varied landscape and its many activities for the whole family. Here you can visit a museum, play golf or tennis, among other things, and there are very good opportunities for coastal fishing throughout the area. You can also simply go for a ride on foot or by bike and enjoy the beautiful, undisturbed nature. Odsherred is a geological uniqueness and a UNESCO Geopark. On it you will find witnesses from the Stone and Bronze Ages along the Tumulus Road, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the Trundholm Mose bog. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. Hovvig Nature Reserve, a renaturalized wetland, is home to a rich bird life. In Grønnehaveskoven forest there is a fitness trail, a beautiful dog forest and in the meadow Kongeengen springs the spring Thorskilde, which is said to have magical properties. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum.
