About this house rental
30 km east of Mikkeli, L.Saimaa 350 m, shallow, hard sand, shore shared with owner (seldom uses shore). There is a own beach 700 m by car and 500 m by walking path, there is a jetty and own boat.
Log cottage 2005, kitchen, living room, bedroom double bed and 1 bed, upstairs bedroom 1 bed, bedroom double bed + 1 bed, bedroom double bed, bedroom double bed and 1 bed, upstairs lobby 2 extra beds, washing room, dressing room, sauna (elec. stove), two open porch and two glazed porch. Cottage has two showers and two toilets. Separate sauna building (10 m²), sauna has elec. light and cold water pipe. Car port.
Separate outbuilding (32 m²) by arrangement (225 euro/week extra), bedroom for 3 persons, bedroom for 5 persons, electric-WC (only in use during summer time), outbuilding has elec. light and electric heating.
Smoke sauna by arrangement, 80 euro/heating.

A very nice cabin 10 minutes walk from the the lake (with a private dock and "beach").
The cabin itself is well kept, will all facilities that a group could want. We were 12 folks (an extended family) and made great use of the sauna (one of several!), kitchen, BBQ, and second BBQ. We also swam in the lake, and rowed on the (provided) boat. The overwhelming feeling is of opulence, not skimping: many rooms with places to sit, lots of tables outside as well.
The location is quite secluded, but easy enough to get to two super-markets (in Antolla), cafe and boat rentals. Mikkali is also not too far, if you need more amenities.
Would rent again in a heartbeat!
