Get to know Huus Uelvesbüll, our enchanting thatched roof estate, which is located on a large, beautiful property in the middle of the wide, beautiful marsh landscape of Eiderstedt! From every window in our house you look out into the distance: on dikes, meadows and fields, on grazing cattle and roaming sheep. We completely renovated and refurbished Huus Uelvesbüll in 2016/2017 with a great deal of enthusiasm and attention to detail. It was our concern to make the outside expanse noticeable inside as well: through a generous, no-frills, Scandinavian-inspired and very high-quality furnishings (e.g. with oak parquet floors, underfloor heating, solid wood beds, internet radio etc.), a bit of luxury, that calms our nerves. We hope that, supported by the beauty of the surrounding nature and the restrained furnishing, you can completely relax and find yourself.

You rent the entire house with its three holiday apartments, all of which can be used separately on the one hand and offer retreat spaces for guests in need of rest and on the other hand are connected under one roof via the utility room and the wellness area.

First, there is the light-flooded part of the house to the southeast. On 150 square meters you will find a spacious kitchen with an old Art Nouveau fireplace and adjoining cozy living room, three bedrooms, two modern bathrooms and a guest toilet. The terrace is completely separate and cannot be seen.

Secondly, the beautiful part of the house facing south-west, which includes a spacious living room with an antique Swedish tiled stove and adjoining well-equipped open kitchen. From the living room sofa with an old rustic brick floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the meadows in the afternoon sun and the most beautiful sunsets over the dike. On another 150 m² you will find three bedrooms, two modern bathrooms with walk-in showers and more. a guest toilet. The terrace and garden are completely separate to the southwest from the other apartments.

And third, the small, sunny apartment facing south. The 45 sqm living space is divided into 1 spacious, cozy living room with kitchenette and dining area, a bedroom in which you can find either two single beds or a double bed and a bathroom. Through the utility room you also get to your sheltered terrace with a clear view of the distant village of Uelvesbüll with its church on a mound.

The very spacious sauna with the wellness area with relaxation room, from which you can enjoy the expanse of Eiderstedt through a panoramic window, is used by the guests of all three apartments. The relaxation room can also be used as a real place of rest and retreat when there are no guests in the sauna.

In addition, all three apartments have a separate utility room with a washing machine and a dryer.
All three apartments are equipped with a freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine for making filter coffee, a Nespresso machine and a well-equipped kitchen. For families with small children, two baby beds and two high chairs are available.

Huus Uelvesbüll ”is around 100 m away from the little-used connecting road between Uelvesbüll and Oldenswort.
Within a radius of 15 km there are many tourist destinations such as Husum, Friedrichstadt and Tönning with their idyllic harbors, the famous "Rote Haubarg" and the Hoyerswort manor, as well as shopping facilities (the closest is 4 km away) and restaurants in all categories.
To St. Peter Ording with its kilometers of beaches and sailing and surfing opportunities is a 25-minute drive, and the Westerhever lighthouse is just as long. The nearest sea dike to the Wadden Sea and the Simonsberg swimming area are close to the bike.

Huus Uelvesbüll has been ecologically renovated. Only untreated solid wood and ecological paints and varnishes (supplier: Gesundwerk GmbH) were used.
An old Art Nouveau stove in the south-east apartment and an antique Swedish tiled stove in the south-west apartment warms you on cold autumn and winter days in addition to the existing gas central heating.
The relaxation room of the wellness area gives you a panoramic view towards Uelvesbüll and offers an additional retreat, e.g. B. for morning meditation. Sauna and utility room connect the three parts of the house, which can be rented together in any combination (see other advertisements on this website). B. for 8, 12 or 14 people. In addition, two baby beds and two extra beds are available.
Use of the sauna is also included in the price, as are bed linen, towels and WiFi.

Dogs are also welcome in Huus Uelvesbüll. The plot of over 3500 m² is completely fenced in so that a dog cannot walk on the street. The gardens for the south-east and the south-west apartment are also separated by a fence, so that the dogs in the respective apartment can be kept separate.

Up to 10 bicycles are available, which can be used free of charge. Of course there is a sufficiently large parking lot on the property.
