Location perfect for all the things to do. 5 min walk to Kanazawa Castle and gardens. 15 min walk to train station and FORUS mall.

We loved the space and traditional feel of this house. It was easy to spread out and relax on comfortable tatami mats after a day of walking! A supermarket, shops and restaurants are all nearby - we recommend Otas Cafe for coffee and breakfast. The beautiful Kenrokuen Gardens are a 15-20 minute walk away, so the house is well-located for tourists. Note that you need to visit an office nearby the train station for check-in and keys.
The TV needs upgrading to allow for streaming of apps! Currently, the TV only allows for standard Japanese channels. The stairs to the first floor are quite steep and could be an issue for guests with mobility issues. Also, the house would benefit from a washing machine (a pretty standard feature for a property of this size).

-Spacious house with plenty of space including facilities that maked you feel like real Japanese
-The property is very near Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle, Oyama shrine and Kenrokuen Garden
-Staffs are polite and able to communicate in English
-It is quite far to walk to Kanazawa Station for many people (about 15 minutes) but for me it is acceptable
-You need to check in at house agent office first to get a key therefore you can not go directly to the property
