About this house rental
The house from the 19th century, built in the classic Swedish country style, was once inhabited by local fishermen and has now been lovingly renovated with a maintained atmosphere.
With two bedrooms, each with two beds, and an alcove with a single bed, up to five people can comfortably live in the house.
The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, fridge, freezer and a dining area.
The living room offers both a sofa and an open fire place and a TV with DVD player.
The bathroom has a shower, a sink, a toilet and a washing machine.
The place, located exactly between Strängnäs and Eskilstuna, lies in the heart of Sweden and is rich in cultural heritage, from the rune stones of the Vikings to baroque castles.
The Mälaren, the third largest lake in Sweden, offers numerous bathing places, the closest one is only about five minutes from the house.
The area includes a rich fauna consisting of elk, foxes, deer, badgers, wild boar, cranes, herons and sometimes beavers. On one side of the holiday home is the Sörfjärden nature reserve, which attracts many bird lovers.
The forests in the area are full of mushrooms and wild berries that anyone can pick.
Only 2 km away you will find the country club, Strand ’(which is located directly on the lake and, in addition to a golf course with 18 holes, also offers a restaurant and a boat and canoe rental.
The towns of Strängnäs and Eskilstuna, where the so-called Tuna Park offers a zoo, an adventure pool and various events, are located 15 km away for shopping and excursions.
For day trips, Stockholm can be reached by train or car in around an hour.

Beautiful Swedish cottage in a nice location. The grounds are lovely with old trees and several booths. Spacious kitchen and living room with a nice sofa and fireplace. Good beds and two bedrooms and a half open sleeping area. Beautiful surroundings with many birds and a beach with lovely bathing water within walking distance.
We were able to get into the house earlier which was very convenient. Contact with the owner is easy because it can be done in English.
All I can say is that the road is audible but not bothersome.
Mooi Zweeds huisje op een leuke locatie. Het terrein is liefelijk met oude bomen en verschillende hokjes. Ruime woonkeuken en een huiskamer met fijne bank en openhaard. Goede bedden en twee slaapkamers kamers en een half open slaapvertrek. Mooi omgeving met veel vogels en een strandje met heerlijk zwemwater op loop afstand.
We konden eerder in het huisje wat heel goed uitkwam. Het contact met de eigenaa is Makkelijk omdat het in het Engels kan.
Enige wat ik kan zeggen is dat de weg hoorbaar is maar niet hinderlijk.

Dit verblijf ie een echte aanrader! Het is een leuk Zweeds huis, rood van buiten en leuk ingericht binnenin. Groter dan verwacht met ruime slaapkamers op de verdieping. De ligging is fantastisch, je hebt rondom natuur. Het meer is op loopafstand en heeft een fijne zwemplek, in de buurt kan je goed wandelen en we hebben zelfs een eland gezien. De snelweg is vlakbij en dat is handig voor een dagtrip Stockholm, qua geluid is het monotoom aanwezig en dat viel ons mee. Top was het!

Vielen Dank an Lars, der uns einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub möglich gemacht hat. Die Location ist genau wie beschrieben, sauber und schön gelegen in Mitten der schönen Natur von Schweden. Gerne wieder!

idyllisches schwedisches Ferienhaus, gemütlich, wunderschöne Natur. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
