Excellent location cosy apartment

Excellent location just two minute walk to the historic part of the city and the waterfront. Very clean and cosy. It’s a small room but it works fine and it’s comfortable.

On the booking site it says it has free parking. There is no parking. If you can find a street park in the street nearby then it’s free. We travelled in Winter so we did get a free spot but if it’s important to you to have a car park keep this in mind.

Location. The owner was really helpful.

Room was clean but cramped . Awful smell of damp in the bathroom. Was difficult to find as the street name was not visible as the lettering was worn off of the street plaque.

Awful experience

Decor was nice.

Worst 'double apartment' ever stayed at in my 40 years of travelling the world. It was like a jail cell. So small could not lay our suitcase on floor to open, without falling over them. If there had been a fire at front entrance, we would not have been able to escape. A fire hazard. More like a front entrance hall cupboard. Also bed up against wall, sister had to climb down to get out. No room for side cabinets. Could have stayed at hotel 100m nearby for similar price. Room only ok for 1 person, not 2. Sat outside to eat our dinner for some space instead of sitting on bed, and eaten alive by mosquitos. Do not recommend for 2.

Amazing stay and super helpful host!

Our stay at Apartments and Rooms Stone House was fantastic. The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed, in a quiet location but still nice and close to the old town. Our host Goran went above and beyond to help us when we realised one of us had left behind something in the apartment. We are so very appreciative and would recommend this apartment very much ☺️

Exactly what I needed in Split!

Perfect place to stay in Split. I was simply in town for one quick night to take care of some appointments and errands, and it was ideally suited for me. Also for anyone planning to holiday in the area, I highly recommend this property. It’s super clean, quiet, well located, and in a charming part of town. The hosts were prompt to reply and quite helpful. Just great, all around!

All in all not a great experience visiting Split - all of

Once we found it the accommodation location was fine.

Beware there are two Stone Houses in Split and our map app couldn’t find this place and sent us to the incorrect one. So we were lost for quite some time until a friendly, kind local helped us out. Parking is not really available either - Split is very busy, so be prepared to pay. We ended up paying 20 euros per day! To note it took a while to get hold of Goran, but to acknowledge it was much later than we had planned because of parking and being directed to the wrong place by our map app. We also found a dead cockroach in the apartment on our first morning, and saw a few on our second night. On our third and final day, other guests were spread out at the garden table working, leaving no space for any other guests. The limited supply of tea had run out anyway, so we were keen to move on anyway.

not a good stay

easy location for town and 2 small supermarkets close by ,good quiet neighbourhood

difficult to get around bed as a ikea hanging frame at end of bed,cockroaches found in bathroom.staircase extremely dangerous my wife was scared to use it as it had very narrow foot treads where it turned.in base of stair was used for storage of combustable material ,paper cloth plastic and wood and a E scooter was stored alongside,considering 2 floors of rooms are above this staircase this is a health and safety issue in the uk this building would be closed down.the stairs would not pass building regulations .balcony very narrow.could hear your neighbours talking thru wall.put my back out lifting luggage down stairs at end of stay.

Brilliant location near the Old Town

The location was so great, an quick walk to Old Town and a bit further to the beach. Also very close to supermarkets and the buses. Goran gave us lots of great tips and information about Split and was punctual when we needed something.

Not much space for large suitcases, would recommend for one person or two people with small bags and for a short trip. We made it work for us but worth noting for the international travellers.

Excellent location, excellent amenities, excellent hosts, lovely view from the balcony!

Excellent location - we could walk everywhere! Close to several supermarkets and the market. Excellent amenities - we were surprised by the dishwasher and the washing machine, both made our stay more comfortable. The hosts - very welcoming.

The only thing I can think of is the stairs! But to be fair to the hosts, they did take our suitcases up for us and offered to bring them back down again.

Super spot in Split

Super location just a short walk from all the excitement, meaning serenity in abundance. Super owner with lots of city tips, a comfortable bed, a good shower, decent wifi.

The room was super small, although I'm hardly a giant myself. Maybe some more plugs too?

Just a great place to stay and will contact the hosts again when I am in Split.

The hosts were very good and available and just a phone call away. They responded quickly and made my three night stay most enjoyable. They fitted in well with my schedule and helped my stay in Split be a very good one.

Great location & appartment

Very good location and the hosts were so lovely! Quick to resolve any issue we were having. Apartment was a great size and we had a lovely time in Croatia. Would recommend staying here!

The only issue we encountered were noisy neighbours upstairs on separate nights from 2 different groups. The walls are thin so could hear everything. The hosts sorted out the first group and I went up to the second group which afterwards they were quieter. I still loved the stay but that was my only issue.

Very good

The location is excellent. A 2 minute walk into the centre of town, also the harbour and numerous restaurants and shops. The bedroom was small but adequate as we were out most of the time. We had a patio, which was nice. The hot water lasted nearly long enough for 2 consecutive showers but heated up quickly. Goran, our host, was informative and friendly. I would stay here again.

Walking distance from city centre in Split

walkable distance to bus station and city center, clean and neat, helpful host. take note, you have to call the host when you reach to get your keys to check in. you can sit at the table and smoke outside the house. other tenants are quiet too. there’s 2 routes to get to the location, our Google maps showed the shortest way but that route involved MANY stairs. for those traveling with big luggage, pls walk the long way up with no stairs but just an inclined walk up cause Split is hilly 2 supermarkets nearby, many food places nearby

bathroom is tiny but very clean. it is fine for us, but big-built people might prefer a bigger space no lift, it’s 3 storeys so depending on which level your room is on, you’ll need to carry your luggage up. the host helped us carry the luggage up and down during check in and check out, very helpful

Very spacious and modern 3rd floor apartment with livingroom and bedroom. There's a TV in both of them. Good views from balcony. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Great location, less than 10 min walk from old town, central bus station, harbour, shops and restaurants.

Stairs to the apartment are a bit narrow.

The location near the old town area and ferries was great. The unit was clean, tidy, and well equipped. I would stay there again, but might request a larger room.
