The easy contact with the host - messages were answered very quickly.

The air conditioning on the room is noisy. There were a lot of mosquitos in the room. Wi-fi was only available durante the first night of the stay. The inner bedroom walls have no proper soundproofing - it was very easy to hear people getting to their rooms and passing the corridor.

The location was brilliant and it had everything we needed for a short city break. It was nice and quiet.

It was advertised as having air con, so it's a real shame that this is only in the living area and not the bedroom, as it was quite difficult to sleep when the nights were so hot. The air from the living room air con does not reach where the bed is in the bedroom. The coffee machine was also broken, although this wasn't a deal breaker for us on such a short stay, as we instead opted for nice local coffees from coffee shops.

The facilities were perfect for our stay, really comfortable and modern with a nice external area for breakfast. It was in an ideal location for our needs. All was as advertised. The host was very accommodating.

Beware there are two Stone Houses in Split and our map app couldn’t find this place and sent us to the incorrect one. So we were lost for quite some time until a friendly, kind local helped us out. Parking is not really available either - Split is very busy, so be prepared to pay. We ended up paying 20 euros per day! To note it took a while to get hold of Goran, but to acknowledge it was much later than we had planned because of parking and being directed to the wrong place by our map app. We also found a dead cockroach in the apartment on our first morning, and saw a few on our second night. On our third and final day, other guests were spread out at the garden table working, leaving no space for any other guests. The limited supply of tea had run out anyway, so we were keen to move on anyway.
