About this cottage rental

Offshore is a gem of a self catering cottage just a few minutes walk out of Crantock in North Cornwall and is perfect for a family get away. Newquay 4.5 miles.

Offshore is a gem of a self-catering cottage, just a few minutes' walk out of Crantock in North Cornwall and sleeping up to eight, making it the perfect base for a family getaway. The four-bedroom cottage is based on a quiet residential road, making it a safe haven for families with children.

Whilst tucked away, the cottage is less than a ten-minute walk from the centre of the village, where you will find two pubs, a local store and other attractions. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk from Crantock’s large, sandy beach, meaning you are never too far from the sea or the water’s edge - ideal for surfers!

Offshore is semi-detached and deceptively large cottage with a bright feel to it.

Each of the four bedrooms has an assigned colour theme with a modern, feel-good energy created by the natural light pouring through the many windows. As a relatively newly built cottage, its spacious layout makes for easy, safe, fun living, and with the added bonus of a fully enclosed garden, children are free to explore leaving the parents to kick back and relax!

The sitting room includes comfortable seating and a wall mounted, flame-effect electric fire - the perfect room to spend time with the family.

The kitchen and dining areas are well-equipped, including a dining table for family meals.

Step outside the property and you'll find a fully enclosed garden, ideal for dog owners, including a pebbled seating area for guests to relax and enjoy.

Amenities: Eco central heating with electric fire. Fan oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Smart TV with Freeview and BT TV, DVD, WiFi, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed garden with lawn, pebbled seating area and hot outside shower. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub less than 1 mile. Note: The gardener may need to visit during your stay. Note: No hen/stag or similar. Note: There is a charge of £40 per pet at this property. Note: arrival time is 4pm. Note: This property can sleep 8 guests at a time, but is better suited towards a 6 person occupancy.

Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
