The ANIMAS HIGH CAMP unit is an 800 SF one bedroom upstairs, cozy, clean and bright apartment in a 1880's Victorian home. The space has been completely remodeled and updated, has small washer & dryer, fully outfitted kitchen, bathroom with shower and tub, and has a new comfy queen size mattress. Nice views from the east facing living room and west facing bedroom.There is a separate entrance in the private secluded and fenced side yard for the renter's use. Bikes, paddle boards, etc not allowed in apartment, can be stored in fenced side yard please. The neighborhood is established and quiet within three block of Main St. where you can find fabulous resteraunts, lots of shopping and strolling. Also a few blocks to great hiking & biking trails in town, the Animas river walk and boating. Ten minute walk up the mesa trail to Fort Lewis campus.close to Durango Narrow Gauge train station. Thirty minute drive to Mesa Verde or Purgatory Resort & endless hiking in the San Juan Mountains.
