Fantastic delicious meals. The cooks are amazing. Best food I had on the trip. The heritage house design and finish is lovely. The greenery just stunning climbing up the courtyard wall to the rooftop and the roof deck cafe a memorable place to eat. Try the thali, though the sea bass was fantastic too and veg were cooked perfectly. Loved listening to the rain and thunder for the brief, intense late monsoon showers.

The hotel is beautiful, brilliantly restored, with every element carefully considered while providing modern convenience. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable and was a sanctuary after long hot crazy days exploring Kolkata. The team are excellent and really looked after us. The food was superb - fresh, tasty and delicious.
Leaving - everything else was fantastic
