About this house rental
Cosy independent apartment, intimate and appointed, perfect for couples and families.
Equipped kitchen, double balcony in an peaceful and green area of Vallecamonica. Computer with free wifi. Laundry available for stays of 5+ days. 5 minutes from Boario thermal baths and 15 from ski slopes and the Iseo Lake. Ideal to relax and enjoy the beauties of the valley: bike paths, forests, mountain trails, prehistoric rock engravings, villages like Bienno and Lovere, amongst the most beautiful in Italy.
The space
Fully independent access.
Equipped kitchen with new household appliances, microwave, kettle for tea and coffee machine.
Bedroom fitted with a large wardrobe and storage bed, valet stand and shoe cabinet. Bright bathroom with shower and towel warmer.
Living room equipped with sofa bed, multilingual library, games, computer with 32" monitor on the wall and Internet access to watch films and online TV channels.
The south-facing balcony has a small table and chairs and is large enough to enjoy an outside breakfast or coffee.
The laundry is in a separate room on the ground floor.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole apartment.
The neighbourhood
Peaceful neighbourhood at short distance from the bike path and next to the playground. The apartment is very close to the centre of the village.
Getting around
Parking space at a few meters from the apartment.
Railway station at 200 m.
Bus stop and all kind of shops (baker, fruits& vegetables, butcher, bar, restaurant...) are just a few minutes walk.

Pretty clean, easily accessible, close to shops. Got everything you need to cook and clean. Washing machine for longer stays is very handy.

I was in Italy to watch my daughter nordic ski race in Schilpario. It was a nice 40 minute drive to the ski venue. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the neighborhood and easy parking by the park nearby.

Das gut und praktisch eingerichtetes Quartier wird von Ben betreut, der nicht nur die Anreise per Auto gut beschrieben und die Unterkunft vorbereitet hat, sondern in gutem englisch auch Tips und Hilfe für einen entspannten Aufenthalt gab. Zu sehenswerten Zielen und interessanten Wanderwegen hat er ein reiches Informationsmaterial bereitgestellt.
Als Ausgangspunkt für die Besonderheit des Tals - die vorgeschichtlichen Felszeichnungenritzungen ist der Ort im ebenso gut geeignet wie als Startpunkt für das Erreichen von Ausgangspunkten für Wanderungen in den umgebenden Bergen. Und selbst die Gebirgswege sind beim Passo Crocedomini nur eine knappe Stunde entfernt.

Wir sehen es als ein großes Glück, diese schöne, ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung für unseren zweiwöchigen Wanderurlaub in der Valcamonica entdeckt zu haben. Es hat nichts gegeben, was wir (Ehepaar fortgeschrittenen Alters) uns anders gewünscht hätten. Steigt man die Treppe zum separaten Eingang mit seitlichem Balkon hoch, so tut sich beim Eintreten zunächst ein liebevoll eingerichteter, luftiger Wohnraum auf, der über einen Gang zu Schlafzimmer und Küche führt. Die Küche ist, wie das Schlafzimmer auch, ein eigener Raum mit Türe, was uns persönlich der Wohnlichkeit halber sehr wichtig war. Alle Räume, das Bad eingeschlossen, haben Tageslicht und wirken dadurch freundlich und hell. Auf dem Balkon seitlich des Einganges konnte man mit Blick auf eine öffentliche Grünanlage und den Bergen den Tag friedvoll ausklingen lassen. An den vielen kleinen Details in der Wohnung spürt man den positiven Geist der Vermieter. Ein nicht zu unterschätzender Pluspunkt ist die absolut günstige Parksituation bei der Grünanlage. Piancogno liegt ziemlich mittig in der Valcamonica, sodass diese Ferienwohnung für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt gewesen ist, um dieses beeindruckende Gebiet kennenzulernen. Der E-Mail-Kontakt mit dem Vermieter im Vorfeld (auf Italienisch) war ausgesprochen zugewandt und respektvoll. Die Begegnung mit Benjamin zu Beginn wegen der Formalitäten ist Teil unserer schönen Erinnerungen an diesem Urlaub.
