Le Capanne: organic farm tucked away in the Tuscan hills-apt. Andreina

Apartment Andreina can comfortably accommodate 2 people (+ an extra bed can be added). The apartment is accessed via a spacious ground-floor terrace which is surrounded by a small garden, with table and chairs for relaxing and al fresco dining. There is a comfortable living area with fireplace, sofa and bed chair. There is a double bedroom with a wrought iron bed, a bathroom (with shower) and a kitchen area with microwave, fridge and freezer, etc.

Agriturismo Le Capanne was originally our great grandparents ’traditional stone farmhouse. Without sacrificing modern comforts, it maintains the traditions of the past, with the vegetable garden and farmyard animals. At our agriturismo you can deeply inhale the peace offered by Nature. It may not be luxurious here, but there is simple comfort for your health and wellbeing: aromas, landscapes, sounds, tranquility. Hopefully they will help you reconnect with your inner rhythm and Nature.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our organic "zero miles" welcome basket.

The agriturismo contains only three apartments (Maria, Amelia, Andreina) to ensure a comfortable and exclusive holiday. They are fully furnished and each has a fireplace, private outside space and self-contained entrance.
A common area in the ancient heart of the agriturismo is available to read a book, browse our collection of farming and domestic implements that tell the story of country life in Tuscany over the last century (our "farming museum") or have a cup of tea.

Swimming pool (6 m x 12 m). Availability of extra beds. Barbeque. Private parking. Pets are welcome.
All utilities (electricity, gas, water), linens (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen - change once a week), initial and final cleaning, parking and the use of swimming pool are included in the rate. The tourist tax of 1 euro / per person aged above 13 / per day (for a maximum of 6 nights) is not included and has to be paid cash.
Our wonderfully rich organic extra virgin olive oil is available to buy.

We deeply value and respect the privacy of our guests but at the same time we are happy to share suggestions and tips about our area and its amenities. Our family house is within a 3 minute walk of the agriturismo and we are always around in case you need anything or just feel like a chat.
Only 1 Km far, in the tiny village "Iano", there are two restaurants, a village shop which stocks a range of everyday items and a horse-riding.
In the surrounding area there are several organic farms which sell their products (do not miss the lovely pasta made with old grains!).

From our agritourism you can go for a walk in marvelous woods and landscapes, reaching the ruins of an old village.
Golf green is 6 Km far (Castelfalfi).
Nearest railway station is 18 Km far (Castelfiorentino).
Florence is 65 Km far.
Unmade road of about 1 Km (you need a car to get to our agriturismo).
