At only 17 km distance from Heraklion ... an ideal place for relaxing holidays where at very short distances, the visitor can find great tourist fun.
LOCATION
MADE, GAZIOU, IRAKLION-CRETE
MADE is a small seaside village(settlement) by the sea, builted on a physical amphitheatre hill. Is the ideal place for quiet and relaxed vacation, with a public beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (3 € per person cost ).The vacationsts can also enjoy, swimming, fishing, scuba diving,organised mini cruises and even hiking. In a very small distance the vacationist can find places to have fun in clubs, restaurants, bars etc. In the opposite of the village MADE is the ’CHC ATHINA PALACE RESORT & SPA’’ 5 star hotel where you can enjoy your drink or anything you like with the respective cost.
It is set in a really peaceful scenery with excellent sea view, but in a 5 min walking distance from the house there is a super market and a rent a car facility. Only four minutes away by the car is the village LIGARIA where there are mini markets, excellent taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine, diving center and an organized big beach with umbrellas, sun beds and showers.In addition, in 10 km distance, you can visit the tourist village of Aghia Pelagia, where you can find big super markets, shops, pharmacy, medical center, night life with bars and clubs.
THE MEZONETTE
Renovated maisonette 90,80sqm of which 10.80 sqm terrace with a very warm and elegant space available, fireplace, air conditioning, wc (with a small shower), kitchen, dining room, one sofa / beds and a lovely terrace overlooking the village and the sea. There is all the necessary kitchen equipment such as a microwave oven, kettle, egg boiler, toaster, in order to be able to create and enjoy your own breakfast / lunch / dinner. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed TV and air condition, and one with two single beds, wardrobe and fan. These 2 bedrooms share a big bathroom (as shown in the picture).
The terrace is an ideal place to sip a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the sea and the village.
.-This house location, is an ideal base to experience the Cretan hospitality and enjoy a relaxing family holiday and an excellent base for exploring Crete.
In front of us, and only about 40m is the sandy beach with crystal water. It is ideal for children as it is shallow. It is organized with umbrellas, sun beds and showers and a snack bar. There is a diving center and a small boat for short cruises in Agia Pelagia, and other quiet beaches to enjoy sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling.

DETAILS OF ARRIVAL
I will give you the coordinates and you will come by taxi or rent a car. In this case, I will be available to assist you and inform you of rental rates according to the season to find affordable prices.
Before your arrival, I will contact you to arrange all the details of your stay! Outside the entrance door of the apartment there is a key storage box which opens with a combination which we will notify you with a message before your arrival at the apartment.
Your flight details and phone number will be greatly appreciated if I need to get in touch with you! Also, let us know if you have specific requests!
We will give you all relevant information about the home and the area. It is obvious that I will be at the other end of the line if you need more information or help during your stay.

Nice, clean, perfectly fournished apartment for 4 people. Located very close (50m) to the sea. Great vue from the terrace on mades beach and harbour.
Great thanks for Mrs. Popi for extraordinary care and help during our stay. Definitely recomended place.

Popi is an exceptionally welcoming host. She went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The location is also great, we really liked the little cozy beach just downstairs from the apartment.
We can only recommend it.

La maison est idéalement située, la vue superbe depuis la pièce principale et le balcon qui donnent directement sur la mer, on s'endort bercés par le bruit des vagues. La plage est juste au pied de la maison, une jolie petite plage calme et très agréable. La propriété est particulièrement tranquille. La maison est impeccable et vraiment fonctionnelle et parfaitement équipée (y compris sel, sucre, huile, lessive, papier toilette, shampoing et gel douche). La literie est un peu ferme mais reste confortable. La propriétaire est vraiment très agréable et accueillante. Nous étions arrivés à 20h à l'aéroport, un dîner nous attendait pour le soir et le réfrigérateur était rempli : oeufs, salades, jus de fruits. Une corbeille de fruits, une brioche et du pain étaient aussi proposés, quelle bonne surprise ! Popi fait tout pour faire plaisir à ses hôtes et répond rapidement et efficacement à toutes les questions qu'on peut lui poser. Nous garderons de ce séjour à Mades un merveilleux souvenir !
