It was close to the airport, in a quiet neighborhood, and it was very clean. The property manager was excellent! He arranged transportation to and from the airport. I was really happy with my stay there.

Everything was as promised. Near airport. Really calm neighborhood and smiling, helpful staff.You can take a local bus from the airport to Markopoulo and walk for 15 minutes to reach the hotel. The whole trip is around 45 minutes from the airport.

A wonderful family owned property in Markopoulo. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, it was very quiet and we slept well. Comfortable beds and pillows. We stay in Markopoulo when we have early or late flights. The accommodation is a short walk to the center of town with restaurants, Kafeneios, shops and banks. Everything you would need. A bakery is next door, and the historic windmill (and Kafeneio) is a short walk. We drove to Sounion and went to the Temple of Poseidon. We would stay again.
We were happy with our stay at Galotel.

Proximity to the airport. The gent who looked after the rooms was good, and he took me to the airport the next morning. I thought the rooms were close to the beach, and they were not, but the offer was made to drop me off there and pick me later, which I should have taken. The woman I dealt with prior to my visit, Gaelle, was very resposive and arranged my pick-up at Piraeus harbour and drop-off at the airport - both went smoothly.
It would be nice to have tea and coffee-making facilities. The shower did not drain properly, and a lot of the bathroom floor got covered in water. Some local recommendations of where to eat in the town would be good.
