Location and staff

The location overlooking the airport was such a bonus. Close to main roads to get to where we needed. It was absolutely beautiful I totally fell in love with the apartment.

Absolutely nothing

Comfortable large apartment, close to airport, walking distance to restaurants. Not that far to walk to the train station. Soundproofing was good considering planes fly straight overhead. Key collection/checkin was very easy.

It's definitely dated and could do with a renovation (especially the bathroom). Area is also pretty bleak but was close to Port Botany where I was working.

The location was very enjoyable, short distance from bus stops and Mascot train station. I loved watching the planes land nearby, and it's worth noting the hotel is very well soundproofed! It was very loud outside with the window open but as soon as its shut its completely quiet. Comfortable bed and couch! If you decide to go here you have to try out Mascot corner cafe, it's about a block away and I miss it :(

First and most important to me: Mould. There's mould in the bedroom. I've lived with mould before so I recognise the smell and the short term affect on my health, and at the end of the stay it started becoming visible on one part of the wall, I'd say they're hiding it on purpose. Secondly, they have notes around the apartment about what you shouldn't do while here because the fire alarm is sensitive, which made me very anxious. There's also a note in the kitchen that they will essentially not be cleaning the kitchen for you, and if you leave dishes, they'll charge you an extra fee. Also the shower wouldn't stop dripping.
