Coral Reef Condo (#30 @ Caribe Island)

Nice location and decor.

Water service was not working for 24 hrs

The condo itself was the perfect fit for me and my daughter. Everything we could need, we had. The board games and cards were a great addition as we had a rain day with nothing else to do. The pool was great too. We had a small issue with our shower so I let the condo manager know and within a day it was fixed. The concierge, Gineli, and condo manager, Lourdes, were both lovely and helpful. Joey, from the golf cart rental place, was also great. The restaurant nearby, Hula Bar, had amazing food (try the empanadas) and the owners were so welcoming. All in all a really great place!

This isn’t a dislike as much as an inquiry - there’s a palapa bar-like building in front of the pool and I had no idea its purpose other than maybe for sitting and eating. Maybe it used to be a bar?? It impeded the view of the ocean a bit when at the pool, but it is a cool structure otherwise - just not sure what it was for.

Unit was very cozy with all it's homey touches. Shelving in the bathroom and clothes hooks for hanging frequently worn clothing articles. Thoroughly loved sitting on the balcony from late afternoon through evening. The VACASA staff was super and responded to our inquiries in a very timely manner. We loved seeing the neighborhood male iguana. He was quite colorful and large. Completely loved our stay.

Was a little too far from town.
