Lovely, quiet and relaxing stay with FANTASTIC panoramic views

The location is FANTASTIC! Right opposite Ambaria climbing (5 minutes walk-in) and with a panoramic view of Meteora to die for. The hosts are extremely welcoming, home cooked delicacies popping up every now and then at our door. The property is the first floor with the owners living above, so very easy communication. Nikos even took really nice pictures of us climbing opposite when I asked! The flat is very spacious and (important for us) well-heated which isn't always the case in Greece in April. The property is situated very peacefully between Kastraki and Kalabaka but with only a 10 minutes walk into either town if you wanted to go out. We loved it!

A couple more kitchen utensils would have been nice, but that's most probably just us who like to cook. If you go out for dinner it's adequate.

Cudowna lokalizacja, piękne widoki.

Podczas pobytu w tym obiekcie moja żona została ugryziona przez jadowitą skolopendrę, która znajdowała się na łóżku, w pościeli w sypialni. Po ugryzieniu wystąpił ból, opuchlizna i trudności z poruszaniem palcem – byliśmy zmuszeni opuścić obiekt w środku nocy. Część dolegliwości utrzymuje się do dzisiaj (po upływie 10 dni). Po zgłoszeniu sytuacji właścicielka podważała, że zdarzenie miało miejsce w domu. Ponadto wyjaśniała: „…ponieważ nieruchomość znajduje się na terenach wiejskich otoczonych naturą, sporadyczne spotkania z lokalnymi owadami - choć rzadkie - mogą się niestety zdarzyć…”. Rozumiem, że obiekt znajduje się w naturalnym otoczeniu, ale to nie zwalnia gospodarza z odpowiedzialności za bezpieczeństwo gości. Miejsce ma potencjał, ale reakcja gospodarza na realne zagrożenie była bardzo rozczarowująca. Nie polecam tego noclegu osobom ceniącym bezpieczeństwo i szacunek w sytuacjach kryzysowych.

Een appartement met het soort uitzicht waar je stil van wordt, letterlijk het mooiste panorama op Meteora dat je je kunt voorstellen. Vergeet de kloosters, die zie je vanaf hier niet echt, maar dat terras? Adembenemend. Het appartement bevindt zich op de benedenverdieping van een woning, de eigenaar woont boven. Spreekt geen woord Engels, maar met wat Google Translate en een glimlach raak je een heel eind, en ze zijn ongelooflijk vriendelijk. Binnen is het alsof de tijd ergens in de jaren ’80 is blijven stilstaan. Je logeert eigenlijk in het ouderlijk huis van iemand, compleet met familieportretten, vakantiefoto's en meubels met verhalen. Groot, gezellig, maar duidelijk op leeftijd. Als je houdt van een tikje nostalgie en dat zalige uitzicht, dan zit je hier helemaal goed.
