Roupes Villa IV, Family villa, Fantastic views, Private pool

Absolutely stunning villa high above the beautiful groves of Olive and lemon trees with a view of the Aegean as well. The pool was a complete hit with the kids and we made dinner in a couple of nights with the gas grill and watched the gorgeous sunsets. Sandra and Fani did all they could to make our stay an easy one including making a reservation at a local taverna Polipou House (highly recommended) as well as bringing us homemade wine, cheese and fruit for our stay. Plenty of room to spread out for the 5 of us and so very clean and fresh! It was hard to leave it for the day to go anywhere because we all enjoyed it so much! Thank you to Sandra and Fani for their lovely hospitality!!

We stayed there for 9 nights last September. The villa is excellent with amazing views from all the terraces, just a pleasure to have your coffee in the morning looking at the view and dinners with fabulous sunsets. The pool is great and looked after every morning. Facilities are excellent in the villa, we used the gas BBQ every day and really appreciate the cleaners coming every 3 days. The communication with Alexandra was excellent too, we were able to arrive a day earlier than planned (flight cancelled) and able to stay until 3pm on our last day. Alexandra also gave us lovely leaving presents. The villa is also well located, 1h30 from Chania airport, about the same to Heraklion and Knossos and 50mns drive to the south of the island. The local town, Rethymno, is great. All in all, a fab holiday, villa, island, people, we’ll be back!!

We stayed 6 nights at Roupes Villas and had a fantastic time!! The host (Sandra) was wonderful and made us feel completely at home. We were welcomed with a basket of honey, bread, fruit, coffee and other necessities. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The views are breathtaking.!!! The area is peaceful and quiet, but within a short driving distance to the main motorway. A “must-do” experience is dinner at nearby Poliou House on a Thursday night for their music and dance show. Excellent food, reasonable prices, and a fantastic display of Greek music and dance that lasted almost 3 hours!!! Overall a fantastic vacation that far exceeded our expectations!!!!!

Villa exceeded all expectations! We felt well looked after by the owner and her team. On our arrival we were met and there was food and water provided for us, so appreciated as we arrived late at night. Villa and pool were amazing with vegetables given to us every few days from the gardener. We can't rate it highly enough. Thank you so much!
