About this lodge
The Lakehouse is a hidden gem tucked in the back of a middle-class subdivision in Greer, SC. Construction of this beautiful custom home was completed in the fall of 2017. Located directly on 130 acre Lake Apalache, the Lakehouse offers serenity, beauty and comfort just 5 minutes from Greer, 15 minutes from GSP and 25 minutes from downtown Greenville. Our vision was to create a place where people can kick back and enjoy nature, friends and family without traveling far from town. Working or playing is better at the Lakehouse. This well equipped home features a Finnish steam sauna. The kitchen has three ovens (1 gas and 2 electric), an extra large island and a wonderful selection of dishes and utensils.
During the spring, summer and early fall, the Greer speedway runs on Thursday evenings and Saturdays all day. The sound of the speedway is heard throughout the area. It is moderately loud at the Lakehouse during this time. If the noise might bother you, please plan your time accordingly to be away at those times. For example, go out to eat on Thursday night, and take in wonderful downtown Greenville on Saturday. It is our goal for everyone to have an exceptional stay at the Lakehouse. We visited Greer SC for a family wedding. I choose the Lake House, because of all it has to offer. We enjoyed the lake, the items provided, the beauty of the home, and the surroundings, and especially the glorious deck which was thankfully covered, as it rained for a number of days. We all sat around the fire pit, and watched it rain, and enjoyed conversations, and made memories. Also, it was so kind of Ryan Townsend, for having a game delivered so the smaller children had as much fun as the older of us did! I would love to spend my next trips there for many years!

Absolutely wonderful! We gathered to celebrate a 50th birthday, an 18th birthday, and an opportunity to spend time with 2 granddaughters on the way to college. The house is unbelievably well-stocked has top of the line appliances and decor.
We usually had 1 paddle boarder, 2 in the canoe, and 2 in the pedal boat! Then we watched the Olympics on one of the huge TV's before playing table tennis or cooking s'mores on the porch. We would definitely recommend this lovely home to anyone!

The pictures do not do this home and property justice! From the moment we requested to reserve the dates, to post check-out (when I forgot 2 items in the dryer), communication was amazing! We were a group of 12 (9 adults and 3 children ages 9-15) and the space was perfect! The view from the deck and patio below was stunning and so peaceful! The house had everything we could possible need both inside and out! So many amazing, lifelong memories were made at this beautiful, immaculate, peaceful lake house. THANK YOU!

From comfortable beds to a well equipped kitchen this location gave us a memorable weekend. Enough room for everyone and plenty of space inside and out. Water sports, towels, bathrobes and even a thoughtful welcome basket were waiting for us. What a great spot for a visit to the Greenville area
