Comfortable and well run. Good connections to transport.

A little far from local amenities if you don’t have a car

I deliberately chose this location. The hotel is surrounded by trees and has a pleasant atmosphere, and the room met my expectations. There is also a convenience store on the lower level, which was useful. It offers various types of noodles, some fruit, and basic necessities — we even bought a bath scrub cloth there. Lastly, the price is very competitive. As a former hotelier from Turkey, I can attest that this is a solid option.

However, some of the staff were not very helpful. When I asked whether USD could be exchanged, one female receptionist declined and indicated this by crossing her arms in an “X” gesture rather than providing a verbal explanation. Later, another receptionist told me that currency exchange was possible, which made the policy unclear and inconsistent. There is also no à la carte restaurant available during the day, which is disappointing. After breakfast ends around 9:30 a.m., the hotel does not offer any space or service for meals. The only available options are independent restaurants located one floor below the entrance level, in a basement-like area with no natural light or views. As a result, we ended up having both breakfast and lunch at the InterContinental. Due to the location, taxi rides take around 18-20 minutes, and there was consistently a 10-minute wait for taxis, which made dining elsewhere less convenient (unless you use the hotel shuttle). Next time, I would choose either the InterContinental or another hotel within the Alpensia Ski Resort, such as the Holiday Inn, where it is easier to walk around, access amenities, and dine without relying on taxis.

Very nice area of South Korea, great skiing and the hotel is only 10 min drive from the skilift. The hotel has a really good ski rental shop, would recommend.

Its quite outdated and needs renovation. All restaurants in the hotel are quite old. Rooms are a bit beaten.

The clean fully equipped room, nice view, quite area. Easy to walk to the bus stop (around 12 min). If you are ok, that around no shops, no supermarket it's a fine place. On the hill.

Staff didn't give any information upon check in, neither about facilities of the hotel (pool, restaurants etc) nor about shuttle service or another infrastructure. I asked in advance (upon reservation) if they could provide any compliment for my birthday, even simple one but nothing at all. Pity. Staff should inform a little bit more, not only about check out time By the way, it's a very famous world hotel brand. I expected more
