FINCA SAN AMBROSIO
Pool, large romantic Garden, Terraces, Barbecue, Central Heating, Fire Places SAT-TV, WiFi
This is a lovely place for a relaxed holiday. It offers a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere with its beautiful large subtropical garden with more than 10.000 sqm, a lovely pool area, partly shaded with deck chairs and the next beach and villages in a 10 minutes drive.
Here, you will be awakened by birdsong in the morning, and in the evening you can enjoy the sunset with a drink on the raised garden terrace.
In every season, you will find flowering plants, shrubs, or trees in the garden. In spring and fall, you will see a variety of different songbirds, and for many years a large colony of bald ibis has been sleeping in the tall eucalyptus trees surrounding the Finca San Ambrosio.
We can offer you 5 apartments:
The main house of the Finca, a large Andalusian style Cortijo, is divided into 3 spacious apartments for 4-6 pax, the garden house into 2 smaller apartments (2-3 pax each), all with private terraces and separate entrances. 4 additional beds and 2 cots can be provided.
A path through the natural gardens leads to a pool (12x6 m) with terraces, sun beds and outside shower, a shaded upper terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue place with garden furniture.
Please note that we also rent the apartments individually, so not all apartments are always available. However, you can rent the remaining apartments for a smaller group if you wish. In this case, we will of course adjust the price to the available apartments.

The Finca is set between fruit orchards and pasture in the green south of Andalusia, Province of Cadiz, in beautiful landscape and only about 1,6 miles from the wide golden beaches of the Costa de la Luz. Conil and Vejer de la Frontera are just a few minutes drive away.
Situated in front of the nature park 'La Breña' with its pine forest, and surrounded by wide meadows with horses, cows, and goats, by fruit orchards and some farms and private houses, Finca San Ambrosio is a green oasis - birds twittering, the wind rustling in the Eucalyptus trees, the murmur of the stream...
It seems to be far away from it all, but in a ten minutes drive you can reach the 'White Village' Vejer de la Frontera with its spectacular views to the Laguna de la Janda, the Atlantic and the coast of Africa. There you can enjoy also the lovely white Moorish architecture, enchanted places with bars and cafes. The lively seaports of Conil and Barbate with fish markets, restaurants, beach bars are also nearby, and of course the beautiful golden sandy beaches of the Costa de la Luz..
In the next small village San Ambrosio, two miles away, you will find two typical village pubs with good food and drinks.

Cannot recommend Finca Ambrosia enough.
For a start the picture do the place no justice.
You are surrounded by beautiful old established gardens, cactus, orange groves and the wisteria by the pool was flowering while we were there.
The pool area is a dream, sun sheltered , private and really well looked after. While we were there there were Black Ibis roosting in the trees which was magical.
Each apartment is really well stocked, comfortable and everything one could need.
We were a large group and had ample space.
The welcome was so warm with all we needed for a day or so, ham, cheese, fresh bread, wine , coffee, fruit, so sweet.
Communication with Alice was quick easy and friendly.
We enjoyed our stay so much and would love the opportunity to visit again.

Lovely property , perfect for a group of friends with children which we were. Landscaping was lovely, pool well maintained and clean and sun beds very comfy . Kitchen well equipped and spacious . Lovely food basket left for our arrival . Gabriele , Edgar and Diego were very helpful and patient with us . Will definitely be back .

Unser Aufenthalt in dieser großzügigen und gut ausgestatteten Finca war sehr gelungen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und die Betten sind gut. Für größere Gruppen ist das Domizil optimal geeignet. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Finca San Ambrosio became am home away from home for me, since we are staying there for years either for our Yoga-Retreats as well as for our own private holidays.
The surrounding just close to Playa de Mangueta and Playa El Palmar is georgeous and wild and the owners maintain the wild beauty of this wonderful landscape also on their property by keeping it very native!
The huge garden is always very well maintained - likewise the different Appartments which are all spacious and tastefully well-furnished.
The owners are very attentative and caring and I always felt welcomed and cared for.
The next beach is about 4 km away and the wonderful Parc Natural de la Brena with it's numerous trails which wait to be explored is just "around the corner".
Regarding the Villa again: since there are so many different Appartments You will have the choice of going there with a huge group - and there ist really lots of space!!! - or staying there with just Your family or as a couple - this is the very nice concept: in any case You will be happy and probably coming back - like we do since 6 years or so...
