The perfect hotel for a Timisoara layover

Passed this hotel hundreds of times and always wondered what it would be like! Had a 4:30 AM wake-up for an early flight, so I got myself a night. This hotel blew me away! Perfect if you need to stay close to the airport (7 minutes by car, 30 minutes by foot) and really comfortable pillows, beds, blankets, furniture, everything. Bolt Food/Glovo/Wolt deliver food even if it's a bit far from the central area, so no issues there, and there's also a restaurant with great reviews on site.

The only negative is that the heating is a bit loud. Maybe you guys can fix that somehow? Or buy some good quality earplugs (3 Euros/pair) for us guests who are light sleepers (brought mine, slept really well despite the early wake-up call.

A gem!

We stayed at the Senator Hotel at the end of August and what a true gem it turned out to be! The renovated rooms are spacious, cosy, and beautifully done — a perfect combination of comfort and style. The staff made our stay even more enjoyable; everyone was friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. The highlight for us, however, was the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, and the chef went out of his way to accommodate our requests. A very special mention must go to our waitress Ramona. Since we don’t speak the local language, she helped us tremendously. She was attentive, patient, and always smiling. Her kindness towards our kids and her excellent suggestions really made a difference. Ramona made us feel completely at home, and her warmth and professionalism elevated our dining experience to another level — she truly is a star of the team! We would wholeheartedly recommend the Senator Hotel to anyone, and we will definitely be coming back.

Nice stay for long distance travelling, comfy and easy to reach

The location was easy to reach from the highway and it was a perfect spot for us, as we were looking for an accommodation that had an EV charging station. The staff was there, even at late hours, close to midnight to welcome us.

Lovely modern artsy Hotel

You need Uber to get around to the city, but that is super fast and convinient. Hotel and Staff are super. I loved staying there. The breakfast is from a menu where you can chose what you would like to eat. Highly recommend.

Next to a trainline, on a highway, the hotel itself is a construction site, bad design, "vintage" furniture is just old and broken, mediocre breakfast

Good for a one-night sleep near TM airport

A good location for an overnight stay near Timisoara and Timisoara airport. The hotel does not look very great on the outside but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is a plus, since you don't have to leave the location to get some food.

They should finish the outside work and refresh a bit the looks of the hotel.

Furnuture was in the "vintage" style, but poorly paired wity the rest of the elemnts in the room. Room was overall clean, but there were visible signs of hair and dust on the floor - indicates it was not porperly vacuumed.

Good value for money

The room was good value for money and also clean and tidy. The beds were comfy and had fresh linen. The bathroom looked nice but it had a bad smell from the sewers. The breakfast was decent and the restaurant beautifully furnished.

The restaurant is overpriced for what it has to offer. No beverages in the room fridge.
