This is our second time staying at this house. The price was much higher this time around, but we love the layout and the location so much we had to return. Having so many rooms with private bathrooms, yet also a couple for sharing is fantastic! The bunk room is great for the kids and so cozy! Two sets of washers/dryers is also great. Wonderful garage space, covered porches, and sun porch way up high are also amazing. There isn't a screened porch so bring bug spray. Beach is a short walk and there are sidewalks on the main road to walk to the cute little downtown area. Sunsets are breathtaking on the beach. We fished from the dock (didn't have much luck) and also rented kayaks from a local place and took them out a lot. Thankful our dogs could come! The new pool is fantastic (although we had trouble figuring out how to get the pool to heat - pump has to be running and the way to adjust that is not easy to find). We loved the slide and the place to sit in the shallow water. The room with the AC just outside is loud. Neighbors left their pool lights in "party mode" all night so the master bedroom changed colors every 30 seconds all night so bring an eye mask and ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Cords in dining area when shades are open are very long and in a loop so keep an eye on young children around them. Grass is artificial-watch out for nails sticking up! We had a couple issues that were fixed promptly by management. We will return!

The property itself was perfect for what we needed. Great for fishing out back, swimming and a super easy walk to the beach. Kids of all ages were entertained. There were two main factors in my lower review- 1. For a large home that accommodates many people, the kitchen needs to be stocked better. Only two very small baking pans. The mixer is not strong enough to blend mixed drinks, not enough silverware, and overall needs some additional items for a large family that’s cooking meals in. If you don’t cook dinners, or want fun drinks, you’ll be ok.
2. The management company started out great, but the hot tub didn’t work since day one. We let them know immediately upon arrival. They would send out a tech but wait two days, and then say it needed a vendor. The vendor came and stayed 2.5 seconds and said it worked. It didn’t. I repeatedly asked for them to send someone else back out, and they kept sending texts asking if I “turned it on”, or say “we’ll have someone there first thing in the morning”, and then nothing. They didn’t care, and by week end said “thanks for being patient on a busy week”. We were patient as they gave us no other choice. If the idea of a hot tub sounds great to relax in at night while watching the kids swim, do not book this home. The owners need to choose a different management company.
