The location is excellent and the little chapel looks very charming, surrounded by greenery. Reims is not far away and the Carrefour in Villers-Cotterêts has everything you need. Check-in was super easy, but unfortunately we ran into a problem with cleanliness in the bathroom and some other parts of the rental. The communication with the owner was very polite and helpful. We were offered a refund of the cleaning fee. However, we did end up shortening our stay. In light of the other overall positive reviews, we just might have been unlucky or our expectations were too high.

This property is completely unique—a restored chapel—converted into a small home with every modern convenience: state of the art appliances, TV (if you like that sort of thing), and modern heating. Stunning and filled with charm, there is even a small farm next door featuring sheep guarded by a protective goose. My husband and I loved the property’s peaceful tranquility. Would highly recommend.

I booked our stay for 2 nights on our way back up to the north to break up the journey and explore a new place and I’m so pleased I did. It’s such a joy to drive up the private lane and first lay eyes on the chapel, private, secluded and very beautiful. It’s a very quaint place to stay and I loved the area too. Lots to discover and see.

I'm not very computer literate, at times thing seem more difficult than needed. But not the property owners fault, and once we worked out how to message the owners all questions were answered quickly and fully. Thanks for a lovely stay.
