About this house rental

Small farmhouse with spacious, tastefully decorated, quiet, ideally located between town and country, we are located 4km from the city center of Arles. One storey villa, fully equipped, total area 220 m2
The ground floor consists of an entrance, toilet and water point with washing machine (detergent provided), a dining room, designer glass table 70 years. Living room with two large sofas, and fully equipped modern kitchen.
The first floor consists of 3 bedrooms;
- A bedroom of 24m2 en-suite, 160cm bed bathroom with bath and toilet. Two windows with screens overlooking the garden. Cable TV.
- One bedroom en-suite of 17m2, 140cm bed, bathroom tub. A window with mosquito net overlooking the entrance. TV, DVD
- A 15m2 bed room 140CM with its own 5m2 bathroom on the landing, toilet and shower. A mosquito net window overlooking the entrance. TV, DVD
A garden of 900m2, trampoline, swings, await you, as well as its 10X5 pool, sun loungers and parasols sagne. A summer lounge in industrial style will allow you to lunch overlooking the pool ...

I called this property home for a full month and am very happy with my choice. Centrally located nearby all the best Provence has to offer, the house itself is spacious, well appointed and quirky (in a good way), and the outdoor area is huge! A great place to come home to after exploring or just spend the day reading by the pool. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Recommended to anyone looking for a comfortable homebase in provence.

Cathrine and Edmonds house is everything it promises with a fantastic garden and swimming pool area with a "Bali" vipe. Pool is very clean with excellent temperature making it perfect for families with children. The house is modernized in with great sense of detail and bedrooms are of extremely high quality. The communication and help from Cath is flawless and speaks very good English which also helps. Can only give there very best recommendations! Anders Denmark

Dont let the approach to this property put you off! Once inside you are in a quirky fabulous wonderland created by the owners. Everything you could need for your stay is there, and if not, Catherine is at the end of the phone. The garden and the pool form a little oasis of calm and privacy. We all loved it and would not hesitate to go back for another stay. The boulangerie is just a few minutes walk away too. What more could you ask for!

Thanks to Cathy and Edmont we spent two perfect summer weeks in this beautiful house with a wonderful garden. Our Kids loved especially the pool and to feed the turtels every morning. We did many day trips to the near coast or the Luberon mountains. Everything you need is nearby, boulangerie or supermarket in less than 5 minutes reachable. The hosts are very kind and are helping with every concern that may occur. We can fully recommend this accommodation to families with kids. We stayed 12 nights in this wonderful home and would have stayed a month if our schedule allowed. An excellent center for exploring Provence it made day tripping to all the must-see places easy and pleasant, particularly knowing that we would return to the lovely pool for the late afternoons Eclectically decorated, a wonderful kitchen, lovely grounds to go with the pool, and large enough to provide each of our four adults private spaces.. The villa is about 10 minutes from the heart of Arles yet "in the contryside". Restaurant recommendations were excellent and the town has lots of good and reasonable places, and are welcoming. A safari of the Comarque is not to be missed. Wonderful, attentive hosts.

Our stay at this property was excellent. We were one couple and two singles, and the setup of the bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for us -- not always easy to find in rentals in this area. The house is eclectic, beautiful and clean throughout. Great furniture and lots of areas to gather or sit alone to get some work done or read. The highlight was the pool, which is enormous, and was exceptionally clean. The location seemed strange at first -- there are apartments on either side of the house, which initially concerned us, but once inside the house, you are never aware that there are others around you. The entry to the driveway is a bit awkward, but ultimately, the location is actually extremely convenient to food shopping and to town if you have a car. If you want a full-size house with a pool, but need to be very close to Arles, this is probably the best you can do, particularly for the very reasonable cost. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Pool and garden were great with lots of spots to enjoy sun or shade. Inside was fun and well-equipped. There were some nice local food shops a short walk away and a big supermarket a 5-10 minute drive away. Catherine was helpful, easy to contact and quick to reply.

This house was fantastic. The owners are wonderful people who care about their house and customers. They gave us a great review of the town and surrounding areas. There was some amenities for us to start with so we didn't have to rush out and get our coffee and tea right away. In our group were two middle aged adults, one elderly person with mobility issues and two children - 8 and 11 years old. The stairs were a little difficult for the elderly person. Even with that issue, we all enjoyed the house. We did a little less sight seeing than otherwise would have done because everybody enjoyed the backyard so much. The house was clean and all the amenities were as described. The temperature dropped unexpectedly during our stay and one night was a bit cold. I emailed the owners and they were out the next day with extra blankets. I recommend this house to everyone except for people that cannot do stairs. The town is marvelous too. We walked and got fresh food everyday from the local shops that were a 5 minute walk away. It was a 5-10 minute drive into downtown area of Arles. The only real problem was that we had to leave.

Wonderful house in Provence

The house is located right outside the center of Arles (if you run, you can easily take a run into the center of Arles, as it is only a few km away). The house is 100% as described, and the owners are exceptional. They could not have been more helpful or knowledgable about the area. Within 25 minutes driving you will find vineyards, the beach, Les Baux, and more charming villages/towns than you can imagine. The pool is great, the outside space is very conducive to dinners outside/ evenings with a bottle of wine. We were there with a small (21 months) child, and she loved it all. There is a butcher and fruit/vegetable shop within walking distance and larger grocery stores are just a few km driving distance. It was truly an enjoyable place to visit.

This is house is aboslutely recommended with very nice and friendly owners. We stayed 10 days with our family of 5 and had a great time. Everything is very clean, nicely decorated and an excellent service. We had everything we need, to mention some examples: coffe, beddings, towels, spices and a lot of other surprises. Very lovely house with a beautiful garden with lots of different places to sit and enjoy the sun or shadow and a very good pool. The house is fantastic with lots of amazing decorations, well equipped kitchen and overall very good quality. We had a wonderful week in the house. There is very easy access to both Arles and the Camargue. We walked into Arles one evening and had dinner, the walk was only 35 minutes and lots of different restaurants. We had a really good communication with the owner of the house and everything worked perfect from before we arrived until we left the house. We definitely would stay in the house again.

Wir haben zu Viert einen außergewöhnlich erholsamen Familienurlaub in Arles verbracht. Das Haus und der Garten mit Pool bieten viel Platz und jederzeit das Gefühl, gänzlich ungestört zu sein. Die sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Vermieter haben das Haus mit viel Liebe und Kreativität eingerichtet - auch nach mehreren Tagen entdeckt man immer wieder neue Deko-Details. Supermarkt wenige Fahrminuten entfernt. Die Altstadt bietet schöne Gassen, Restaurants und Kultur. Zum Meer oder den Sehenswürdigkeiten im Hinterland dauert es eine gute halbe Stunde.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans la villa des Roses, de Cathy et de Edmond qui nous ont réservé un très bon accueil et qui sont très discrets mais à l'écoute. La villa est agréable et fraîche avec de très beaux volumes, chacun a pu trouver son endroit au calme. Le jardin est juste magnifique, bien entretenu et la piscine super agréable, les enfants en ont bien profité! L'endroit est stratégique pour visiter différents sites de la région, dont notamment les endroits plus sauvages de la Camargue. Une maison magnifiquement décorée et chaleureuse, un jardin de rêve

Nous venons de séjourner dans la maison de Catherine et Edmond et, revenus depuis une semaine aujourd'hui, nous sommes nostalgiques de ce merveilleux endroit. La maison est tout simplement incroyable d'originalité. On découvre au fond d'une petite impasse citadine cette magnifique maison qui nous cache un véritable havre de paix, un écrin de verdure. La décoration est soignée et authentique, on se sent immédiatement chez soi (on aimerait bien l'être d'ailleurs !). Les chambres sont confortables (la literie est très bonne) et spacieuses, chacune a sa salle de bain. La cuisine et les pièces à vivre sont très accueillantes. Nous avons absolument tout aimé, les sols, meubles, luminaires, chaque objet de décoration, le baby foot, le petit salon d'été avec son présentoir à cartes postales et sa vue sur la piscine. Enfin, le jardin. Que dire. Il est parfait. Il est richement arboré, plein d'espaces différents, chacun a pu trouver son petit coin pour se poser. Nous avons adoré les jolies paillottes permettant de trouver l'ombre nécessaire durant les chaudes après-midis camarguaises. La piscine est grande et permet de faire de véritables longueurs de natation, ce qui est très appréciable. Nous sommes devenus amis avec les 6 tortues de Catherine, que nous avons nourries pour le plus grand plaisir de notre petit garçon de 7 ans. N'oublions pas le bbq qui a fonctionné en marche forcée pendant tout notre séjour. Enfin, nous tenons tous à encore à remercier Edmond qui nous a si gentiment (et longuement) expliqué quel chemin emprunter vers les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer afin de traverser le parc naturel de Camargue et profiter des paysages à couper le souffle, et de voir les taureaux, les chevaux camarguais, les flamand roses au détours d'une petite route digne des pistes de safaris africains. Quelle merveilleuse journée cela a été. Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir séjourner chez Catherine et Edmond, et nous nous réjouissons d'avance.

Dès la porte ouverte, on entre dans un univers qui allie chaleur, déco originale, fonctionnalité et bien-être global. Nous avions choisi cette villa car la décoration et le jardin nous avaient vraiment séduits sur les photos... Nous n'avons pas été déçus !! Une décoration incroyable, un jardin et une piscine de toute beauté, un très grand confort, des équipements ' bonus' (baby-foot, balançoire, trampoline...) qui apportent aux urbains que nous sommes un caractère exceptionnel à ce séjour ...sans oublier ni les petites attentions de nos hôtes pour démarrer le séjour sans stress, ni les tortues qui ont animé nos journées pour le plus grand plaisir des enfants et des plus grands !! L'emplacement est pratique pour visiter la région et proche de tous les commerces du quotidien. Un écrin de verdure et de beauté au milieu de la ville, et de son effervescence. Nous serons très heureux de revenir à la villa des roses ! Pour l' heure, nous remontons avec de superbes images et souvenirs de notre séjour....

We had the most amazing week in this lovely home, it is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The house is huge with many different areas to eat, relax and chill. The decoration is beautiful and so well designed I would definitely move in myself. And then the garden and the pool, exactly like on the pictures, a little oasis that invites you to relax all day. You definitely have everything you need, a huge well equipped kitchen, dining area inside and outside, three large bedrooms, two of them with a tub! Plus you have your own parking spot, which is nice because you need a car to get around. The super market is only 5min by car tho and you can walk into Arles in 30min. Cathy and her husband were super quick to respond and very lovely people who created a little piece of heaven on earth. We will definitely come back and already told all of our friends about this house. The only thing missing would be extra bedrooms so you can come with more people as there is definitely much space :) Thanks for everything!

We spent a fantastic week in August here as a family with 4 children. Everything needed and more is available in the well-equipped and smartly furnished large house. The interior design would be worth an entry in a magazine for beautiful living !. The kids had a lot of fun in the great pool and on the big trampolin. The nearby campsite was always quit. In the area there is a lot to explore. Nimes, Aix en Provence and of course Arles with its beautiful old town. Also trips to the Camargue and the sea were very nice. The hosts had welcomed us warmly and were always available and very helpful. We would love to come back!

Couple avec 4 enfants. Comment ne pas succomber au charme de cette maison !! Elle est magnifique. Et le jardin, la piscine, un vrai havre de paix. Merci aux propriétaires de penser au bien-être des vacanciers. Tout est bien conçu, en terme de confort et d’équipements haut de gamme. On s’y sent bien, tout simplement en vacances. Le localisation est parfaite, facile d’accès pour tous types de commerces. Et la région est riche en activités et visites. Dommage qu’il a fait particulièrement chaud les derniers jours de notre séjour. Nous conseillons vivement aux propriétaires d’installer la climatisation au moins dans les chambres à coucher. Cela nous inciterait à revenir avec grand plaisir.

Wij hebben zeer genoten. Lekker ruim huis met veel plekjes waar je je terug kan trekken. Prachtige tuin. Leuke steden en dorpjes in de omgeving. Minpunt is de directe omgeving rond het huis. Rommelig, versteend.
