Beautiful Napoleonic Mansion set in a 1000 year old Provencal Village

Our group of friends and children had a lovely week in this property. It has everything you need, and more, for a comfortable stay. The pool was a welcome retreat from the heat wave and the house itself stayed nice and cool! Communications were great throughout and Christopher did a great job of checking us in and giving us advice on places to visit throughout the week.

We came to a very nice house, very clean and we saw a house with nice rooms, several bathrooms and all the equipment we needed to a very nice holiday. The garden was also very nice with a very nice and clean pool and several place, whre we could relax and enjoy the sun, and we could also find shadow, if we wanted. The french staff and the owner are very kind and very helpful. We can only give this place our best recommendations. Regards Anne and Poul from Denmark

Our holiday was fabulous!! The home and gardens were stunning with attention to every detail. The bakery around the corner kept us stocked with fresh croissants and baguettes-- the restaurant up the street was phenomenal-- but the overall relaxation we enjoyed was due to the charming villa we called home for those 7 days. I already can't wait to go back. C'etait magnifique!!!

Having stayed in holiday rentals in France for the last 20 years I have to rate this one as a gem of a find. From the moment we arrived welcomed by Lucy and Stephanie showed us around the house and made sure we were comfortable before they left, nothing was too much trouble and happy to help us with any questions both living very local to the property. The owners have been incredibly easy to deal with and just an E mail away with information to make our stay that special family holiday. In the centre of a village (not that you would know) as behind what looks to be the original property door and lock (fantastic) lay a little oasis in the centre of the village, that lights beautifully at night and comfy sun beds, andseating. Everything about the house suggests this has been done to a high level and is a real home from home, with cupboards full of general things (salt, pepper, Sugar etc. (all the owners ask is if you use it replace it). A fantastic built in BBQ and a lovely pool with the back drop of the old church again a beautiful addition to the garden tranquility. (be mindful the church bells chime every hour but after a day you are used to it.) There is no car parking on site but this isn't an issue as just moments away are two large free car parks that appear secure (we didnt have a problem). The bread shop in the village prepares the best bread I have ever eaten in France and the local bar (and pizza take away Thurs - Sun) is worth a visit. You can easily park the car and forget to for a week here only popping out for provisions (large Intermarche around 5 minutes away by car). Cafe l'universe is also worth a visit good value and good food in Brignoles and the staff very friendly (and speak English!!!) as my French is not so good.... St Tropez just an hour away and Monaco worth a visit just over an hour with easy access from the property onto the A8 (Brignoles Junction 35). All in all this has been one of the best family holidays and property's we have stayed at as a family of five. We felt the luxury and were spoiled accordingly by this lovely house, I hope it will remain a hidden gem for some time as we will definately be returning I have no doubt in the future. We had a very lovely stay, the house is very spacious, has a fitting style and a gem of a garden where you can have peaceful evenings staring at the pool, the church and the stary sky...

Fantastisk hus og beliggenhed. Vi nød ferien i fulde drag og oplevede det fantastiske ved at bo i en lille landsby. Hver morgen gik vi op til den lokale bager. Det var en oplevelse for sig selv. Alle de søde lokale vi mødte var meget rare og hjælpsomme. Der var to franske piger tilknyttet boligen som vi bare kunne kontakte i tilfælde af problemer, hvad vi dog ikke oplevede. Huset er fyldt med alle tænkelige fornødenheder. Fantastisk i en så gammel historisk bygning. Haven og poolområdet er helt ubeskrivelig lækkert. Kan give vores største anbefalinger til netop dette lejemål. Tak ril Fiona og hendes familie for at ville lade os leje denne perle. Vi var 7 personer i huset og alle var yderst tilfredse. Cette propriété au coeur d'un village a été restaurée avec talent. La piscine entourée d'un jardin fleuri est un magnifique espace extérieur qui met en valeur les murs de l'église et la maison . Les intérieurs sont spacieux, la maison est très agréable à vivre, les chambres et les salle de bains sont lumineuses, chaque objet de décoration à sa place et quelques jolis meubles anciens ou verts pastels ajoutent une note délicatement colorée à ce bel intérieur blanc. C'est une maison où l'on se sent bien dès le premier regard. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et visité une très belle région. Merci Fiona et Lester pour les courriers que nous avons pu échangés , les conseils et adresses que vous nous avez donnés, ainsi que l'accueil dans la maison par René. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette Magnifique demeure au cœur du village. Très joli jardin , beaucoup de charme à l intérieur, très belle maison de famille. Excellente communication et réactivité avec la propriétaire et le personnel sympathique très proche Merci

Dans un cadre hors du temps, la propriété offre une havre de paix dans un environnement préservé. On est dans une partie de l'Histoire française avec ce presbytère accolé à l'église du village. Les cloches sonnent toutes les heures y compris la nuit mais on s'y habitue vite. Charmante décoration et équipements très complets, on ne manque de rien. La piscine est un plus pour se rafraîchir pendant les chaudes journées d'été.

We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend a week at Le Vieux Presbytère during July of 2018. The house, the garden, the village and the area - everything was beyond our expectations which were high to begin with. If the opportunity should present itself, I can only recommend this beautiful mansion. The backyard bordered by the church is romantic and cozy, and as such perfectly suited for children of all ages.
